I'm fine with those too, It's what attracted me to The Beast Wars figures in the beginning, seeing all the lines and pin holes on Rhinox and Rattrap in an Argos catalogue is what made me stop and look and think Beast Wars? Transformers are back!

Though yeah the shoulder area is a bit glaring and from the other pics it looks like his undercarriage has a couple of dark gaps, perhaps that's something you'll fix on this with your mad skills as a kitbasher Unicron9... Seeing what you were able to a Basic Airrazor makes me shudder at the thought of what mind blowing epic-ness you'd do with an MP Beast Wars mold.

The paint job on this guy is going to be a marvel if the same amount of effort is put into it as MP Primal or the Telemocha Cheetor and that would be enough to draw my eye away from a few small gaps.

Agree with you,i rather they release the rest of the 4 dinobots rather than let Grimlock be lonely with all the 3rd party Dinobots gathering around him

 

We still need a new and improved Grimlock V2 to fit the current scale before Takara releases the other 4 Dinobots.

 

Hopefully Megatron and Rattrap like the rumor from a while back suggested.

I'd really like Megatron because Optimus Primal needs his Predacon counterpart and because the outrage from overentitled Gwunners if it got revealed before the 2nd attempt at the G1 version would be hilarious.

I'd really like Rattrap because he's my favorite character from the cartoon.

That said, I'm open to anyone else as I've found things to enjoy about every single character. I prefer the organic beast modes but the more robotic ones from later series are fun too....Transmetal Rattrap has one of my favorite vehicle modes of any Transformer from any era

That Cheetor looks so much better than I thought it would. I love how poseable he is in cheetah mode. As happy as I am to see Cheetor though, I'm really hoping to see a little remolding and an eventual MP Tigatron release.

 

Guess he really does have a fake chest. Its sculpt is way softer and flatter than the real cheetah head.
Which makes me think of how incredible it is that the heads manage to hide in the opposite modes!  

 

That scan makes it look like its very posable in cheetah mode. Along with what looks like a very articulated robot mode - this could be really special.

Now who's excited to see some Beast Machines designs in MP?! There's a case where I'd like to see some toys closer to screen accurate. Huh? Who's with me?

Looks quite nice but easy pass for me. Glad others can get geeked out over MP Cheetor, though.

 

Despite not having the budget for Masterpiece figures I would love to see Takara tackle some of the Maximal Beast Machines designs seeing as how they would be harder to make screen accurate than the Vehicon generals. Beast Machines Cheetor and Savage/Noble would be two particular characters that I would love to see.

 

In a translation of the text (done by...Emperor Bruticus IV..?), there is mention of great care to "fur", "texture". That's interesting.

Cheetor was far from my favorite Beast Warrior, but this looks amazing. No complaints.

However, given Primal's price - and extrapolating a guess at Cheetus' - I don't think I can afford either.

C'mon, Hasbro! Release these in the West! No licensing needed!

 

I'm not much of a Masterpiece collector (I generally prefer the Generations 'updated' designs of characters), but these Beast Wars MPs are amazing.
