A couple of years back, I put together a script for a one-shot comic book version of Dark Glass, the missing Beast Wars episode. Somewhat selfishly, I'd had a thought of collaborating with someone to bring to life a couple of the scenes with Dinobot and TM2 Dinobot interacting using MP figures. Your pics are always a pleasure to see, you pose them beautifully, and you have some great backgrounds, so thought I might ask on the off-chance.

But alas, it wasn't to be. Keep the pics coming though!

I just got to transforming this guy, and I think he is my favorite MP from the last few years. Hoist was meh, and I didn't get Jetfire, but I can't recall the last time I've had this much fun transforming something from Takara, and the end result is like "wow, this is exactly like the cartoon!!". In for the repaint if there's one.

Between this guy and Brawl, this is back to back perfect masterpieces. I can't find anything wrong with this guy, and he's even easier to transform than the Kingdom version.

Curious to know, is there a proper solution for the chest tab on the hips to be solid?

Or the only know solution is to uncompress slightly the rear part of the neck?

 

Main thing is to make sure that all the parts that fold into his chest are seated correctly. That is something that I think caused issues for some folks. I always recommend Wotafa’s videos to follow along to.

 

So after a long wait I received rhinox but only one. I ordered two from show z at the same time. I paid for the two of them at the same time but only received one... I checked my emails from show z and it says they may have been fully shipped or partial shipped. So looks like they were partially shipped. I haven't received an email saying the other was shipped and they were shipped on the 30th of july. Anyone ever have an issue like that? I was so excited when the postman arrived but alas only one smh

 

That’s annoying! Get in touch with them to explain the issue. In the past, I’ve had this issue with double orders from Anime-Export, but they were very quick to send me the other one by EMS. AE’s customer service is always top notch.

 

Sent them an email and a message on their website. Let's see what they say. I hope I'm not waiting another 2 weeks

I’ve done the same as you but mine haven’t arrived yet. I always get two of everything Beast Wars related and typically Show Z tapes both packages together when they’re identical.
They did that with my two DB01s and TransArt Dinobot IIs and Rhinox’s box probably isn’t much bigger than those.

If they’re shipping individually, it’s likely a weight/dimensions related issue. Sometimes it’s more cost effective to ship two medium parcels than one large one.

 

I can remember getting my two Tigatron Mp's together. I was wondering what was going on lol. I got a response and they said the second one was shipped but they apologized I never got a tracking number. He is in the sorting office in Dublin so I should receive him tomorrow or Friday  

 

Don't know if anyone asked this yet, but is the brown on the figure just molded plastic? And the green (or some of it) painted?

 

It’s come up. According to factory sources, Takara was planning to paint the whole figure initially, but decided against it to make it more durable.

All of the brown is molded plastic with a matte finish, while most of the green is painted. Any green joints are unpainted as well.

He would’ve looked even better if he were covered in paint, but they did a great job with the matte plastic finish, so he still fits in well enough with the rest of the crew. It’s only in beast mode where it’s a bit more noticeable, but then his weird techno horn is probably the more egregious detail there.
