Only tourists from Western countries will buy it for that price. Locals know where to get it for cheaper. When I used to live in Singapore, I got my own "lobang" when it came to Takara MPs. Man Singlish can be great sometimes.

Very strange. I heard someone else here mention that pic from Weibo. It’s possible someone took the pic and said they accidentally got the wrong pin for ‘views’ or something. OR if that person is telling the truth I have no idea what happened. Never seen a wrong pin or coin in a box. Just doesn’t seem possible during production. my money is betting that person who posted that pic didn’t take that pic.
You get the pins if you order from Hasbro Asia/Chinese sources. So not if you order from a Japanese site. North American retailers usually have a separate listing for either version, and BBTS usually sells the coins separately after a couple of months.
$10 from BBTS in like, 6 months then. Now you know better if you want the coin in the future, though.
Sigh... One of the few times that we in Singapore get an MP figure before the rest of the world. Usually, I'd jump at the opportunity to buy her off the shelf and bask in the glory of being the first reviewer and whatnot... But I just don't like the figure enough to buy it for internet fame. (^.^')
I think that’s happening for me too. I see a $0.01 charge from Amazon Japan. Crap, my account doesn’t have enough in it to cover that charge, my paycheck won’t come in for a few days, and I still have Christmas shopping to do.
Nobody can buy it...At least not until December 26th as it was the street date intended for her to go "live" for sale on shelves. (I managed to snap a picture & shared the news with Black Convoy when I was in the toys department back then) The toys department have since received "advises" from Hasbro to remove her from the cabinet & to only put her up for sale officially after X'mas.
I preordered Arcee even though she’s not an MP I’m super excited about. I guess I kinda felt like she’s a distinctive character and should be part of my collection. At this point though, I think what has me most excited about her release is the possibility that we might get another MP reveal soon after.
TT always has a few fingers in separate pies I think. Raiden will start the combiner pie, Arcee will continue the movie bot pie, Tigatron was a recent BW pie slice, Hound was a recent G1 pie slice, Starscream is the pie that I expect to be most spread out: the remake pie... Hmm. I wonder if there is any logic to any of this speculation? Like maybe a (tinfoil Napoleon hat) pattern!?!? Just for fun I wonder which pie is up for a slice to be filled in?
