My wife likes this version of Arcee better than Fanstoys, MMC, and definitely better than the unmentionable hookerbot. Funny enough, if Hasbrotak just posed in a classic A stance, people would be pissed at a lack of articulation showcased. They can't win. The fanboys just want to crucify them over everything. I showed her the new pics, and not once did she say, "that's too suggestive!" nope. Her response: "Wow, she's got great articulation!" Guess Takara wins some, loses some.
this is probably the first official MP mold that I'm not getting. The odd chest angles look absurd. I already have the FT version and cannot justify shelling out $ for only the TT name.
MP Arcee is a mix of things that are merely OK & that stuff that is crap. Car-mode is perfect, as long as it can roll smoothly, accessories are all good, articulation is typical of her contemporary Masterpieces, & her bot-mode arms & lower body are nice. However, the backpack is an unwieldy, folded up mess, much like the new MP Bee. And, of course, her bosom is too low & misshapen. The backpack might be unavoidable considering the impossible nature of her size/shape morphing cartoon design, but the droopy chest was completely deliberate. Maybe she should just parts-form & have a "shield" made of car parts, or how about a battle-sled like G1 Ironhide?
SAME! Initially the only reason I was buying 2 was bc my wife requested I do so. She thinks Arcee is beautiful and wants me to display her. She’s not a transformers fan so this is a milestone for me. Can’t wait to show her the new pics! She had more of an issue with Blackarachnia. She won’t buy my “it was the 90’s” blanket reason and prevents me from displaying her. I guess she's not a beast wars fan, but hey! If she want's to be COMPLETELY WRONG that's her choice. Take the Ws leave the Ls BeASt WaRs 4 LYF! *BW theme intensifies* BEASTIES!
That breast plate is odd and too-low. I can\'t get over it. I also can\'t believe they haven\'t fixed that. Will keep my pre-order for Azelea just because of that one thing... I can\'t un-see that flaw. Otherwise it looks really good.
But that figure has a small head with long arms and weird looking legs? Plus the car mode is inferior also. Not understanding how this Azalea figure is better in any way that it’s promoted so heavily on this board.

With all of her sugardaddies, you would think Arcee would have one of her medically trained lovers give her a breast lift. Seriously girl, tummy boobage is not attractive. If it wasn't for that, I'd probably preorder her. So, Azalea it is.
I've got no idea, buddy, no idea! That's putting it very lightly, outside of the beautiful alt-mode, this figure is horseshit, plain and simple. I just can't believe it, I thought the exact same thing Split lip mentioned sometime ago when he said this figure is neither accurate or sexy. There is way too much curvature on her hips which isn't toon accurate and then they go through all these lengths to make her sexy and then give her granny boobs....MEH. This figure looks atrocious and is very symbolic of where TT are at the moment in the MP game. Too much wrong and too little right to justify the inevitable hefty price tag. Those bug eyes which looks like the doll sat on the chair in the corner of the room in a some b-list horror movie which unknown to the protagonist of the story secretly staring only to pretend not to when looked at. Then you've got the ginormous backpack....now in their defense Arcee was always going to have a big backpack, it was inevitable but this is ridiculous, then you got the granny boobs as already mentioned. And then....when you can miraculously see past all these flaws TT is going to ask you to pay double for what you paid for the previous carbot which came out the year before when you can see no apparent leaps and bounds in quality, engineering or aesthetics. The figure is full of fail and is the second brand new G1 mold after MP-45 I will be skipping. That's 4 duds in a row for TT, MP-44 included. I hope they turn this around quickly as I yearn for the days I actually looked forward to TT's MP offering. On that note MP-47 is available for sale, it sports the infamous hairline fracture on the neck armature after 2 transformations. PM for price and details.
Can they show some pics of after she's been transformed a few times. You know cracking, stress marks and such.
