Roadbuster is my all time favourite TF character so ill buy any and all versions of him. I like FP Roadbuster, he reminds me of Don Figueroa (Stormbringer) design of him.

I want one of everything shown from MMC but this one is high up on my list. I think this is a knockouti terms of looks and size and I know it isn't getting in our hands until quality is right. Go ahead and take your time. So much looks good.

 

I have no clue who Strika is, but I'm assuming she's the Awesome Kong of femmebots?

Strika was originally from Beast Machines, once Megatron decided his first 3 generals were incompetent (well two had betrayed him) so he made Strika and Obsidian (sort of like a small Osprey helicopter I think). I don't know the animated version well. I think that is where her popularity comes from.

In Beast Machines, Strika was one of the two greatest generals in Cybertronian history, and since BM history covers pretty much all of the G1 universe and until the end of time, that means she was basically the best ever.

In Animated she, uh, showed up. No lines, she was just briefly shown in a battle scene fighting some crew of Autobots on another planet.

Pretty sure she had a speaking role in Animated.

 

She was an original character introduced in beast machines but written as if she were ancient and "famous", like a decepticon general showing up in the very distant future sort of like how they did in beast wars with starscream and ravage.

Their was a fan from several years ago who theorized she started off as a regular fembot - small and slim like Arcee but grew tired of being regarded as weaker (as one one think fembots often get stereotyped as) and so set about upgrading herself over time to become bigger and powerful, which despite being a fan idea, I think was the best way to think of her character and why she is the way she is. It would explain why all other fembots look the way they do and Strika does not.

In both Beast Machines and Animated she is given the classic "tough russian lady soldier" persona - the type associated with characters like the baroness from GIJoe.

Yeah, definitely IDW Roadbuster. That's definitely his arms. I was wondering why it looked odd to me.

I'm going out on a limb and guessing Cassy Sark design, and like his Lugnut mold, it's probably designed with 3 or 4 co-molds as different characters. Strika, Roadbuster, TFPrime Breakdown, Beast Wars Second Autolauncher, Rolling Thunder Optimus Prime, who knowns what else...
