    Mastermind Creations: Guesting to Victoria Toy Show

    Mastermind Creations have just facebook'd that at the Victoria toy show, the first prototype of the "Reformatted" line will be revealed and visitors will get an idea of the aesthetic of this sub-line, if I can call it that.

    Rapid prototyping is super useful tech, but this picture shows why it isn't the best idea for marketers to get their hands on them IMHO.

    Wish it wasn't cast in translucent resin. Makes it hard to see the details.

    But I'm very hyped up for his release.

    That is a busy busy bot. Im afraid to learn the price because so far I am on board.

    And what is this subline talk? Are we going to be seeing more G1 characters come from MMC?

    In large and small companies the guys designing products aren't the same guys as the ones selling those products.

    So in this case, rapid a prototyped model can be very useful for working out a CG models quirks but when the guys responsible for building hype and demand for that product get their hands on it. they can show stuff that isn't ready for prime time.

    Or actually works to do the opposite of the intended effect.

    (Sorry if that came across as pedantic.)

    I don't know whether it comes with a base, but it looks badass. That's all I can say. I am really digging the Shealth.

    Same general design, but they're not cast from Drift's swords. They'll be larger, plus they're supposed to have different symbols on them (not that we've seen them clearly to tell).
