Priced at $160, he flew off the shelves early in the morning. Sat there for a while, then once the general public was admitted, ~10 units went in under an hour. Glad I did bought 2 @ $140 while I had the chance. Canceled with BBTS just prior. No waiting game for me.

    He looks great with QuakeWave!

Having just read Sixshot's Spotlight again as well as "Devastation" I think I'm gonna take the plunge once the regular edition hits.

How are the transformations between each mode in terms of difficulty?

Yah, he's not overly hard or easy peasy, he's just right IMO.

The ridges don't look as obvious in the coloured version. Yay!
As somebody else posted, 'm gonna go with the hope that Reprolabels or some other 3P sticker maker does a set that will cover up some panels and hide even more of the ridges. Seems like a simple and relatively cost effective solution.

After having stared at the box for over a week and then been ok vacation for another week, I found myself not that desperate to want to tear open Super Nova Hex. So he sits sadly still in the brown shippin box. I'm 90% sure now that Super Nova Hex isn't right for my collection. Just need the right offer to push me over the edge. So if you are lookin for one, cruise over to my wants thread and give me a shout if you think you've got the goods.

    Yup, I think so.

And no, I don't watch gladiator movies. :)

Like I said tho, it's gotta be for a good trade or a trade + cash, like MP-09v2 and cash or a couple of hot toys or something. I don't know. Part of me is still hedging.

I like it a lot for sure, but I just don't think I love it, but I know if I open it I'll want to keep it, so I want to trade it for something I love or a character I care about before I get tempted to open it and keep it just because it's cool and rare, even tho Sixshot is meaningless to me emotionally. Trying/hoping to to trade it along with another figure for ThreeA Rex, or get enough cash for it to get me close to buying that Rex.

the only figure that i'd trade my super nova figure for would be for a project genesis and additional tfc uranos figures. other than an amazing trade like that, i would definitely keep it.

I dont know that I could ever do a not in person trade on something this valuable. My luck the post office would lose it or something. LOL. Id probably consider it for green giant if they dont seem to be doing another run. Kinda boring right now getting ready to move this month, Metroplex is the only figure not boxed up. LOL.

I have thought about the risk involved trading something of this rarity and value. I would def only do it with someone who has a long and strong track record or that I've traded with before.

    hardreturn, RRavage,
Thanks for the input on the transformations :thumb

I tend to keep my TF's in robot mode for the most part but there's that many options with Hexatron I think I'd switch him round a lot more often.

Genesis for that? That's not a fair trade, Genesis alone is far greater than an uncoloured Hexatron, no matter how rare it is.

Processing on BBTS apparently. Hopefully TFsource's should come in stock soon.
