I bought FansProjects Chromedome for about a 100 bucks back in the day which I think was maybe 3 or 4 months before he finally got a reissue at his usual 65 dollar price or whatever he was rrp. Most expensive deluxe I've ever bought.

And I once paid 70 for a takara deluxe, a bad one too. :lol

He's joking about how you get guaranteed unavoidable cost cutting and often intense design compromise for the sake of gimmicks with most modern hasbro releases.

To be fair, Hasbro Impactor will be a deluxe and would probably have either hands like Rook (5mm peg hole on the knuckles) or one of those horrible rubber hook for a hand.... If they even bother to do that. I can see them taking a "this is before his tragic accident took his hand" story with him. I expect the Rook like hand with a weapon hook to plug into it cause that's like the laziest thing they can do.

I still wish by all the dark gods for that spartan/commotus combo that has the spartan chest with commotus gun that's in proper metal slug colours. Greys and blues. dirt and grime.

Hilariously enough that's pretty much what the canceled asterisk release of the mold was going to be.

Shame we never got it. Our canceled v1 Guzzle was overflowing with Starcraft references too, sigh.

Spartan/Impactor is top-notch (I have that TFCC deluxe and while it's fine and works great if you dig the CW play pattern, it's just not the same compared to this guy), so cool that it's getting a reissue and more people have a shot at it.

I continue to cross my fingers really hard for a Commotus reissue though.

I've been focusing on MP figures once more, so I really have no place for this guy again, but he's just so goddamn awesome.....

I too have found myself enjoying this guy once more now that a bunch of new people will get a chance to own him. Been forever since I photographed this guy last, still so pretty. Wish more of Cassy's stuff had turned out this fuckin good.

I always appreciated that MMC included Impactor's mnemosurgery attachment.

Well, guess who finally caved in?
    .....
really? I don't even know joesmoe manjenson.... I'm talking about me! Had my eyes on this guys for ages, and my hope on Hasbro waned too thin... Sure, I have to wait until july (if bbts gets enough pre-orders. i made sure to read that disclaimer) but i finally have a chance! Everytime i finally got the money in the past, it was sold out!!! and as much as I like the TFCC impactor and anticipating the hasbro WFC vote one, they aren't voyager class... i NEED him voyager!!! NEED!!!!! NEEEEEDDD!!!!!

also, odds of this being my first full 3rd party figure is good.
    *patiently waits*

Just picked up Commotus for 120 shipped. Have spartan on pre-order.

Please everyone pre-order him... FILL THAT MOQ!@#!@#!

I believe he is here: Mastermind Creations - Reformatted - R-13 - Spartan

I need him released so i can meet my $150 to ship with Anarchus.

    Thanks :D

Must admit I'm tempted to buy a second one just so I can use the Toyhax miner set on him and pair him up with Manic Miner Megatron.

I'd also love a Commotus reissue entirely so I could repaint him into Straxus :D

Damn you, I completely forgot about that set. Now I'm thinking of doing that too. Lol
Me too. Commontus getting a reissue would be great. I'm tempted to pick up that KO black CW Megatron just to try and make a Turmoil when I'd rather get a Commontus.

Seems to me a Commotus reissue would be a no-brainer, really, since he's rarer than Spartan and people want him.

I have read that MMC isn't much interested in doing one.
