The new printer will allow grifs work to be easier sure but their factory is still going to only work as fast as it can when it comes to final mass production and typically a factory can only produce 1 to 2 product runs worth of parts every couple months. And by factory standards even that would be lightning fast.

 

And there's still the indeterminate lather-rinse-repeat period of factory test shot, review, wait 3 weeks, factory test shot, review, etc.

 

I think the more friendly of the 3P groups should have things arranged so that we are at least getting one figure a month.

So far the trend is Christmas rush - get it out before Chinese new years rush (sept-feb) and then a figure here a upgrade there from March to August.

It becomes six months of feast and six months of famine. I would prefer 12 months of feast but would settle for 12 months of decent eating.

This is a 100% buy, I am down with MMC's reformatted line. I have Hex and he is hands down one of the best transformers I have right after Masterpiece stuff. But I don't consider him a masterpiece. He is the best Ultra class, Leader class? IDK... anyway Azalea will be amazing and I would like the IDW paint scheme blue lips and Yellow eyes. Her mouth should open for the option for a Yelling Arcee... I mean she does it quite a lot.

 

She scales well with deluxe figures. She will not scale well with MP figures at all. She will fit well in a classics/idw generations collection.

Hope since next year will be big for beast wars fans, we can see a botanica fembot since she has also never seen an action figure of herself.

 

Did she even have an alt mode? my memory of beast machines is a bit fuzzy. I remember her getting upgraded or evolved or something so I guess she'd be like nova in that respect, regular mode and super mode  

 

Man this looks super sweet, the question I will be asking myself is should I be replacing my existing Arcee for this one. But Arcee was so bad ass in the comic.

I really wish that MMC make a proper Arachnia. The PE one was close, but it didn't really have a spider mode that was satisfying.

 

Since their first fembot is being turned in to 4 autobot ladies I think they should make a completely new mold down the line and dedicate it to decepticon ladies. Though I think only Slipstream, Blackarachnia and Arachnid could really be made to work from the same basic mold maybe. Assuming it were designed clever enough to be able to work as a jet, helicopter and cyber spider.

Strika is the only other evil fembot I'd like to see but I feel she would be deserving of her own unique mold rather than a retool given she's suppose to be a big hulking tank lady lol
