Yeah I don't want the vampire teeth, but I do want blue lipstick and yellow eyes. They look much better to me and makes the face pop out.

But hey I still have some color left from my warhammer days I don't think it'll be hard to fix that  

I would also prefer yellow swords to go with her.

I also wouldn't minde to have a face with some sort of personality to it. I generaly don't like just flat faces on my bots.

Hell one of the major reasons as to why I love the new IDW Swerve is the fact that they gave him his shit-eating grin!

 

Personally, I think I'd be okay with that face.

Wait, there is a possibility of a non-grinning Swerve? That's like saying we should have a green Optimus. If you have Swerve he MUST have the biggest smile possible.  

 

Yeah, I'm not advocating the rage faces either, but in the video and pictures so far some of her features seem a little indistinct or muddy (could be the paint on top to blame for that). In some pictures she looks a bit like a older woman as well, which could be addressed by making her cheeks and jawline look pointier/thinner and less full. And again, I know these are unstaged pictures of a painted prototype, so it doesn't look its best.

As is, the head's fine. But to take Tigris's beast head as an example: I didn't have any complaints with the old one, but once the new head was shown it was a world of difference that I hadn't even considered.

 

So Vange1us' video may just have cost me some money. I really like the figure but it doesn't scale with MP... But its so damn sexy, I think I'm gonna have to cave on this one.

I have trouble trying to justify Arcee as a Minibot (she would probably scale with MPs where a proper Brawn would scale -NOT Hench mind you).

Where does Arcee scale in IDW?

 

i think i will get a few of the repaints of this mold, my PE and iGear arcees are enough for me... who knows i may be convinced by the reviews but i am definitely more interested in the repaints of this mold

A little too small to me. I wish she were almost MP sideswipe height..maybe she isn' t THAT much shorter. could still work. I don't know how tall arcee is supposed to be anyway as i don't read the idw comics. the current deco looks great but i think yellow eyes and blue lipstick would also work too for those idw fans. I'll probablay get it anyway as ...it does look great and i don't have an arcee and i'm sure this won't cost nearly $100 because its MMC and they are defining the 3rd party reasonable price awesomeness market right now.

 

Pricing is in the 4th post. Azalea is $60 and the repaints will be $50.

I would like it if she were an inch or so taller and the face could use more expression, but these look too good to pass on plus she looks super posable.

Over in another thread people were discussing what non-Autobot femmes could be done---not a whole lot to choose from, but I was thinking--I just found this drawing, and I think it'd work very well for a "reformatted" style Blackarachnia---it's every version of her, and none, all at once:

It's a really nice hybrid of aspects of all her incarnations. It's not the iconic, definitive version of her---but it should "satisfy" most anyone's desire for a new version of her, regardless of what specific appearance of hers you like best.

Good size for classic collection. However, I already has an Igear delicate warrior. I'll definitely get the remold/repaint versions.

 

I'm sorta in the same mindset. I'm keeping my PE RC but will definitely buy at least 2 of the 3 planned repaints of this mold. I like what I have seen of this mold so far, but I also like that the PE mold will help differentiate between the fembots on my shelf.

I was the one who had brought up what other 'Con bad girls there are that MMC could give the reformatted treatment to. Again I plan on using the PE mold for my Black Arachnia, but I would love for MMC to give me a couple other options, mold/character wise.

 

I'm ready for these to come out. They look great. Hope to see some Decepticon fembots from MMC.

 

Question for Grif or someone of that crowd: what do we have to do to convince Mastermind Creations to include a scale medkit with R-09 Zinnia?
