Looks really good. I’m still waiting for the Delta/Blue/Diaclone version. I also really want the maskless face option.

I THINK I might be able to hold off?! Idk… it looks pretty damn good.

This looks great! I've already got Nox and Prominon in 2023 and I might add this too. I think the dark bronze/grey on the limbs really pops.

They have to be, it's like the 4th repaint. There's a reason why they didn't include the cloak though.

I really like this, but do you guys think they could have used a different color for the hands, biceps, waist and thighs? I feel like that bronzish color clashes with the rest of the deco. It's a similar color to the hands on Optus Nox (which looked a little off-putting). I feel like a greyer color would have looked better in those areas.

Call me crazy but I actually really like the bronze. This being a Scourge variant I'm sure there are a lot of us who would've expected the more traditional grayish color scheme that we're all used to seeing. And I'm sure it still would've looked amazing too.

But in this case I'm gonna give MMC props for going with the bronze instead. While I can totally see how others may not care for it, to me it really makes the figure stand out more (in a good way) from the typical Scourge deco. It makes the figure "pop" in a way I wouldn't have expected while still managing to look menacing as hell. If nothing else it certainly makes for a unique looking figure.

It is just me or does this remind anyone of that one Movie Optimus repaint? I think it was called Nightwatch Optimus or something? Either way I'll have to skip on this guy, since I've already bought two versions lol. I do like the new trigger piece to make the two rocket pod things into a pistol though.

No. It's literally the best thing on this whole deco. Brown-ish colours go extremely well with teal.

Yeah, Funny that. Reformatted isn't MP scale, but MP's sure scale alright with it.

MP's like Skids, the MP-52 seeker, Shockwave, Prowl...they're all about the right size compared to Optus and other Reformatted figures for an IDW scale.

Of their current lines, the early MP releases (Perfection Series) could have some issues (which are all now solved), but the Reformatted line (this figure) has always been great. Think solid plastic, fun transformations, no paint thus no chipping, and good tolerances.

That said, with the previous release of this mould, Stormbringer Optimus, there were complaints about the joints being too tight. But that's really the exception. MMC is likely the best 3rd party company there is for quality of the figures combined with playability. And should a problem arise, they have excellent customer service.

Only shitty part is that you'll be tempted to get more and most of the previous releases are sold out and now pretty expensive.

Well, actually, though not bronze, RiD Scourge also wasn't the light grey that modern versions (Fans Hobby, Hasbro) are. His grey is definitely darker coloured with some tint to it, and in some shots from the cartoon, you could perhaps call it a bronze-like hue.

However, though I won't buy this and I may think it's a redundant release considering the already existing Optus Nox and I might have wanted for any other deco over this (Diaclone blue, Toxitron, Bape green, you name it), but the combination of dark greyish black, teal and bronze really does look pretty amazing. Definitely the superior deco of the two Nox figures.

    Looks good!
I'm surprised we didn't get the Optus Nox Damaged Faceplace to go with this one, weirdly enough.

I hope that with this mold coming back they'll do some more reissues of the other colors...

This line looks sick. This is a very unique color scheme that looks like it has metal on it even tho I assume it doesn't. The whole reformatted line has some real bangers like Super Megatron, Star Convoy, Overlord, Doubledealer, Dezarus... MUST RESIST

Wait, the bronze color isn't due to the lighting?

I had no interest in this as it is, but if I did, the bronze would've changed that.
