I wouldn't buy it but I'd like to see it. I think that'd look pretty cool.

Or at least reissue Magna. There are either a whole lot of Magna's out there with no Inventa to go with them, or they made way more Inventas- because he's easy to find and Magna is nowhere to be found.

I also got a replacement neck from MMC and can't remember if I've used it yet or am using the current one. Either way, I found using insulation tape worked. Someone in this thread recommended it.

The issue with mine was the 2 pieces that form the base of the neck didn't meet together tight enough to create suitable friction around the next neck joint. Taping a single layer of tape around the hole and pin of the first joint and neck base gave enough friction. Punch a hole in the first joint obviously so the peg in the base could go through. Tightened it up and the neck holds really well.

I previously used nail polish and also tried some thick napkin but neither were strong enough to support the neck.

I ordered Inventa from BBTS on Thursday and had it shipped priority mail.. They just processed it today. Lol typical. But they're the only ones that have it in stock. Oh well. On the hunt for magna now.

Inventa finally came in. His neck wasnt as loose as I thought it be but not as tight as I wanted. I saturated the joints with 20200703_122907_001.jpg the "liquid joint fix" without disassembling the whole neck. Hopefully it will tighten indefinitely.

Hear hear! Count me in for that! Been thinking of getting my hands on this set since there's probably a long time till we get an MP one. Just so I can actually have a Sky Lynx, haha.

Only complaint I have about it, while very minor, I gotta mention. Cause, c'mon. Where's Sky Lynx going with that grill of his?

I personally would have gone with something more akin to the original cartoon, with an extra set for a more IDW look.

In case anyone is interested, I have my MMC Magna/Inventa set on sale here. And the neck, while it could be tighter, definitely holds his head up properly!

I am looking for one but at slightly lower price point and am based in the UK. If there's anyone selling one in UK, please give me a shout.

    Thanks

Only place I've ever seen it is eBay, and it is never really any cheaper, been hoping planet steel express would do a reissue as they had it cheap but when I contacted them last year they said there was no plans to get more made.

Yeah, unfortunately international shipping costs is a non-starter normally, but now it's even worse. :(

Sorry for the bump, but I lowered mine to $325 shipped in the US. Looking to sell this weekend so I can ship everything tomorrow. After that I’m not sure if/when I’ll go to the post office again.

Are you in any of the Facebook TF groups? There's a bunch of people looking for one in TF Addicts.

Where do most of you put this fella? I'm having a reshuffle at the moment, as my DJD team is not far from completion, but I've got no idea what to do with this now, as it's such a space hog.

I would have been in on the set had MMC not screwed up the neck. As it is I'll make do with the Earthrise version which I think is more than decent.
