Has there been any news guys of when Inventa is being released?,my Magna is getting lonely without his comrade.

 

should be any day now as i am sure he already hit customs here in the states.

 

Finally had time to apply @griffith76's 10min fix. Might as well open a few more loose joints to tighten.


There are already two spare covers included. Just reused a less busted cover for the third hole.

Would I have an easier time selling off this set complete once TCP gets Sky in, or should I just go ahead and cancel Sky so I can get store credit for him and just try to sell off Lynx on his own once he finally gets to me? It's been too long since I paid for Lynx, so I can't cancel him, but since Sky isn't in yet I can at least get funds back from him.

I just don't want this set anymore, and would rather have funds to pay for my Siege pre-orders.

 

I think just cancel the bird and later sell off lynx at lower price will be easier.

 

That's my thought as well.

I just canceled and don't see the funds in the store credit part, so I had to e-mail them. Just for the heck of it, I asked about canceling Lynx as well, even though I already know the answer.  

 

well lynx should be easier to sell on his own since he was sold out or whatever.

He's sold out at The Chosen Prime currently, which is the retailer in question.

 

That is understandable, the neck I am sure, scared a lot of people out of this very expensive purchase. That said, he is big, unique, and has a lot of shelf presence. He also looks to be pretty limited in quantity too. I can definitely see this being a Rare, sought after figure down the line in a few years or sooner, specifically the Inventa portion. I remember receiving Inventa first, I ended up loving the figure enough to get Magna, and wow does it look awesome combined. The neck issue is extremely annoying no doubt, but the rest of the figure makes up for it in my opinion.

 

You know I really dnt want to beat a dead horse but I must say ... when I first saw this, the very first thing I said to myself was, “Pls, pretty pls, just do not fuck up the neck ...”

My reverse mental powers are pretty fucking amazing I must say ...  

 

Great that you got yours fixed. I stumbled on screwing the neck braces together as I couldn't screw them any tighter than they already were.

How much further could you turn / tighten yours? 90 or 180 degrees maybe? It would be helpful to know for when I get my replacement pieces from MMC

 

Very minimal actually. 5 to 10 degrees or so for the three joints I tightened.

Sorry, we have more Magna coming with Inventa. They should be here any day. Just waiting for them to clear the port.

 

I’m going off topic but me, you, and a few others should have a G1 chug off....lol. If you’re in a thread I know I’m looking at the right product.

 

Haha thanks   my collection has definitely gotten a lot more g1 focused over the last year or two
