Well, is this worth picking up? I have none of this mode and I have never read a page of comics, but can't stop myself from buying MMC reformatted line.......................

This is from Beast Machines, not IDW. You’re looking for the Whirl version - this is Obsidian.

If you really want to buy amazing MMC stuff, stick with their hyper accurate figures:

Tarn, Kaon, Nickel & The Pet, Drift (and Deadlock), Wing, etc. All very very amazing figures.

yes, this figure is absolutely worth picking up as an original take on a beast machines character

obsidian is also in idw, granted this figure isnt accurate to that design, but that doesnt mean its not a good figure

Have all of them, except Drift as I am gutted to miss out on him. Nickel & The Pet, I am not too sure as they are quite expensive.

Saw it in a local toy store at $75. Is the price fair enough? Can't find a lot of reference price points.

I believe that is close to retail for him, so it’s not a bad price at all

Where? Been looking for a good deal on this guy and Strika. Probably won't find one on Strika, but I'd scoop a Oberon right up.
