I been biding my time waiting for this to go on-sale, somewhere. I said this before, when it first became available, and someone basically told me I was a fool for not snatching this up right away; for $500 was a steal, and would be gone soon.

As an MP only collector, it's non-essential. However, as a lover of all things TFers, cool, quality, and badass, it's a matter of how much and when.

Why is bbts still listing the set at $500...its clear that no one wants to pay that. You cant tell me that is the cheapest they will go for the purple deco

 

Lots of people paid that for it and even more. You're lucky that most sites still have a few in inventory so you can still get it for MSRP or thereabouts. Ebay has a few as well. Once some sites start to run out, you will see prices start to rise and it was a recent convention release so that is another factor why it is not being put on sale too quickly.

 

This. It's a really good deal too. By far my favorite combiner and the individual figs are great. They also come with a lot of accessories thrown in.

 

yea if the market picks up again for this set, the KO guys will chime in and see how that goes. Just saying.

The KO guys are already working on it. There's going to be one that's a straight up KO and I'd say a pretty good chance for an OS version given the overwhelming positive reaction to the regular OS one.

Well, I did say "wants" to pay it. It's been a rough couple years for me, so i've been very hindered on what I want to buy. Than get screwed over because I cant buy it at that time.

I put movie Ravage away long ago with the intent to sell him. I couldn't stand the movie aesthetic. I see how well the colors match Nero Rex and want to fish him out again...

Best part of the OS KO is Felisaber is getting the same treatment regarding Nero's color scheme.

Damn, that's a good price. I told myself I'm gonna hold out until it gets down to at least $400. I realize that even at $500 it's still a good buy, but that's still a half a grand all in one shot. Makes me wonder how many of these are moving at that price and just how "limited" they are. Maybe by Black Friday they will get down even lower.
