Amazing. Don't know why, but the hands in particular really impress me; they're so expressive.

Hard to believe this guy actually exists. Has to be the most obscure character ever to get such a high-quality, expensive figure.

Crumplezone would be an awesome choice for remolding

I'm not buying reformatted anymore but I must say this guy looks nice! I'm excited for those who are buying him.

I'm also excited because after Mors comes out, the next two MMC releases are their Combaticons!

I honestly thought this mold would have been best for Bulkhead. Big bot, large lanky arms, tread legs, APCish Brick vehicle, and remold of the head and chest to make it more in character. If possible, the top of the vehicle could have been change to split up to give him the shoulder wings. I understand why they used the mold they did, but I still think this would have been a better use.

Crumplezone is another good call though. Didn't think of that.

Speaking of Bulkhead, pic from dracos's review on weibo: Sina Visitor System

I think Mors remolded into Bulkhead is a really cool idea. I'm guessing, though, that MMC hadn't even greenlighted Mors as a project until after the tooling for Bedrock was already cut. MMC bought that design from Cassy Sark probably back in 2013 or 2014.

But in the hypothetical world where MMC didn't put Bedrock into production and thought about remolding Mors, that's a $180 Bulkhead. Similarly, Tankor seems to be a great remold idea for Tortor, but how big's the marketplace for a $200 Beast Machines Tankor?

Forgive me for repeating myself from years ago, but I had an idea about how MMC could've used this panel as repaint inspiration:

    LastStandoftheWreckers5-brittlebones.jpg

Give him a charcoal/black deco to show he's completely scorched (or a red/orange one would work, too.) Remolded parts would be:
    • New skeletal head/facesculpt
    • Since the legs come off for transformation, add an extra non-transforming skeletal pegleg that can attach to the hip joint. I wouldn't even care if it had minimal articulation.
(Oh, and call it Nero 'Fex.)

Oh man, good call re: Bulkhead too. He could be the Leader-class version, even.

I would 100% buy a good bulkhead or crumplezone from this. No question

There's a reason I said remold and not repaint.

Question to those who have Mors, would you say his larger arms are well supported when posing?

I'll be shocked if they aren't. All 13 of my MMC figures have lovely joint tolerances and can hold any pose I can think of. Even Carnifex's finger joints are tight.

This guy definitely slid under my radar as I just saw he was in stock at ShowZ. Bought him without hesitation, now let’s see how long he takes to arrive.

It was just the stock figure though which we repainted in the class. All that black paint is paint that we applied.

Yep, exactly this. I would have loved to see Bulkhead from this, but we already had the character as a fill in for the Decimus remold. And I would have loved Tankor from Tortor even more! The design lends itself so well to it! But only a few would buy it, and when the main use is already an obscure character...yeah. Never gonna happen. Any remolds for the two big DJD guys will need to be big sellers to at least recoup some of the costs.

It's actually been a challenge to find any that could work, btw. Tortor has one planned for a big name character that we felt pretty good about, but...Hasbro has kind of pulled the rug out from under us there, lol. Mors also had one planned, but I don't think it will actually happen. Poor fit for the character, and there is an extremely good option at a similar price/size for it already. Hope we can show both off someday, regardless.

EDIT: Trying to be coy while completely having forgot this existed. I really should read back further before commenting. :|

That was a vanity project. Boss really wanted to see a Nemesis Prime from Seraphicus.

There was going to be a Continuum repaint for Carnifex that almost happened, but it was decided to just do a straight re-release instead.
