    Cool. Yea..i passed on him when he first came out and figure his price is only going to go drop once the fans hobby fig is out.

    Picking him up now just to see what he's like.

    Good to know he's still available at retail...

    I know I may be in a minority of one, but I don’t really love - or even like - my Carnifex. The head and face sculpts are great and he captures the IDW iteration (which I love), but the transformation isn’t fun, he feels too light and insubstantial for his size and cost, and the alt modes are meh at best with the jet, and “what the....?” with the tank. But so many do love him - leaves me wondering what I’m missing.

    If the transformation is still bad for you, watch the Wotafa video and immediately try it. It’s great.

    I think of his alt mode as the combined mode moreso than the separate tank and jet.

    I kinda wish part of the top panels on the tank could flip out somehow, though, so that the combined vehicle mode had some nice big wings. But I find it a lot of fun otherwise.

    But the robot mode looks so good, I have to forgive the bad tank mode.

    to this day i still have not been able to pull the trigger on this figure, while he hits 90% of the Dark Counsel nods, his sheer size just makes him unreasonable for me on that front, he does look amazing though

    Got this guy today, barely know the character but the figure has so many dynamic things about it.

    Question, the left blue panel on the sides of his thigh is loose and pops off. Is this a common QC issue?

    Yeah, it's pretty much the only QC issue with Carnifex that I know about. Either glue it in or treat it as an accessory, but it's perfectly normal.
