Are you referring to chainsaw? That's from Kotobukiya - M.S.G. Weapon Unit 26 Dynamic Chainsaw.
Oh man they look so awesome
Make sure you paint them. They look so much better. I used tamiya silver and gun metal.
One of the best figures I own. His transformation is pretty intuitive - the shoulder transformation I'm sure you've heard of by now, but honestly it's not that bad. Your first time you struggle for sure. I transformed him last week and I had no problems. It comes second nature now. It just takes practice. And I think the alt modes are really nice. I understand he's expensive. But he is worth the price.
I'm going to co-sign what @Destructimis Prime said about the transformation. My first time with the shoulders was god awful. I tried it without directions - men don't need no instructions! Turns out I needed instructions. Read the instructions, still couldn't figure the shoulders out. Watched some video reviews. STILL couldn't figure the shoulders out. Finally tracked down this video, which solved all my problems: .
It's not a difficult transformation once you get this down. Everything has a home and locks into place in a satisfying way.
That's a long way of saying, don't let the transformation of this guy be an obstacle if you like everything else you see. He's a gorgeous piece. Bought him a week or so before I moved, so he's currently stuck in a random box somewhere in my house. Gonna be a good day when I finally track him back down.
Thanks for the feedback! I haven't watched any videos for a while since I took this off my list but recently been thinking about getting it again. The main obstacle is pretty much the high price for a character I have no connection to.
Agreed. I just got it and it is an incredible piece. The shoulders are a crazy puzzle until you figure out that the cones extend out and the shaft that they extend upon slots into the armature, allowing the whole thing to compress against the body of the plane mode. Once you get it, it's easy. But the instructions don't get you there. Amazing figure, by far the most impressive piece in my collection.
Yeah, the shoulders are a pain, but Carnifex is absolutely my favorite figure in my collection. The superjet mode is so goddamn cool.
I got this guy in my bbts pile of loot for nearly a month and a half now. I just got around to getting it sent to me. I had been waiting on the addon kit, but that has been pushed back yet another month.
MMC definitely wins the award for "Most Consistently Useless Instructions." Especially obnoxious for a company that engineers a bunch of "tricks" into their transformations, that you need to be aware of to make their figures come together in alt mode (or at all).
Packed-in instructions are near useless these days anyway. Video instructions do a much better job at pointing out what one needs to look out for.
Bae returns again:
I haven't even transformed him yet and he's a masterpiece. He's the best transformer I have ever dear held. He is such a characteristic and posable guy, and will literally do anything. If he was $350, I would still pay for him.
Took this guy off the shelf for the first time in a while to grab to obligatory "Squish Pipes" pic when i got Badcube Piper.
So i decided to grab a few shots of him too! Still such a great figure (ignoring that damn shoulder transformation)

Still the best 3rd party purchase I ever made. MMC's Overlord is still such an amazing piece.
The shoulders don't bother me, honestly. Just have to know what you're doing in there and don't try to jam them back all in one motion as it simply isn't going to work, but there's plenty of reviews of this magnificent bastard out there that can help visualize what the instructions gloss over entirely.
SHOW US THE SQUISH
Yeah, i think that's the main problem, the instructions really don't describe it very well.
It's ok once you get the hang of it but that initial frustration of the first transformation could definitely have been avoided.
Absolutely class figure though in all its modes.

...so these are, like, ghost mega and giga?..
...i’ve never watched masterforce; is there precedent for ghosts in the fiction?..
