Why charge the IDW people $205 if they don't need the extra pieces?

If they were really trying to squeeze blood from the stone they could have included it all and charged everybody more.

Dood, I literally work for mmc. The boss didn't want to do the mini bots, he saw no value in it. If he did Carn would have been delayed several more months and they'd have been included. The only thing that was cut last minute from release was the gun turrets cause they weren't finished in time and not considered worthwhile enough for him to be delayed for either. Prior to that the mini bots were mere concepts to either be greenlit or not and they were not.

And people asked for them, and this changed. Period. Hard solid facts from the source. Accept them and stop being silly.

That's not what happened. I corrected you initially and you didn't accept my statement so I responded by making it crystal clear what is fact and what is not. Your latest comments I did not read because I was typing out the previous.

You did not preface your original comments as mere assumption, you made a sweeping unfounded cynical claim based on nothing. That is what I corrected. Redacting your attitude does not change what or how you initially stated yourself.

Anyway it doesn't matter now. On a lighter note, boy it sure is funny that some people think mmc cares much about g1-ness with the reformatted line when its entire inception from day1 has been to not be g1 and that philosophy is only going to be more intensely true as the line continues. We're going to get very very far away from g1 and its going to be glorious.

Nothing about how you initially worded yourself sounded like an opinion at all. Whether you added imo or not wouldn't have changed that. My responses would have been different had you not been so hasty to shout unfounded claims based on nothing other than your own personal cynicism. I already have let it go which is why I don't get why you brought it up again. What else would it be if not opinion cause I don't work there. You could have easily just said much earlier " oh hey I work here and for a fact it was not in the works originally" how was I supposed to know you worked there??? If you mentioned it some time before I didn't see it. Ok now we can drop it. Seriously I don't care one way or another was just bored so I came in here to type.

Aw, dangit. I've had it for less than an hour and I've already gone and broken the tip off one of the swords just trying to pull them out to go back to bot mode. the rest of the figure is solid, but these are some of the most delicate sword pieces I've ever seen.

Oh well... guess I'll just have to start saving up for another Carnifex. shit....

I'm also worried I'm going to break the shoulders. I just don't see how the bottom of the pylons are supposed to squeeze past the u-shapes. The hinges just don't look like they're made to be able to bend that way.

Perhaps, but at worst if they can sell you the part for say, $10 + shipping, that's a lot better than buying a whole new figure.
