Amazing figure. Really glad i pulled the trigger at the last minute
Overlord is afraid of nothing!
My new reason for existence is to now recreate the scene at the end of MTMTE 54.
fedex has me scheduled for delivery today... from 4:30 till 7ish ill be on the chain gang at a freshman football game
from 7 is till 10 ill be taking caRE of family buisness ie dinner and homework, maybe some cleaning... im sure ill open the box, but, not quality time here ..... 10:30 till 11:30 my hockey game...leaving me like a half hour of stunned tired silence to bask in overlords magnificence properly...
why are the shipping gods so cruel sometimes
Tomorrow....I shall be as cool as the rest of you folk....tomorrow.....
Hope this helps.
I can't close it any more than this. It just pops back out immediately.
Mine is missing the sliding gun barrels on that part as it was missed in assembly. ... But at least it stays closed I guess?
I caved and ordered one... He is in my BBTS loot waiting on Simba to drop
Is there a trick to sliding the backpack down? I can't get it to budge.
The best method I've seen is to open out the backpack sides, unlatch the wing bits, and then push down on it from the top with your thumbs while holding the waist. If the wings aren't unlatched it won't want to move as they have tabs that rest in detents on his back and they are attached to the backpack.
We already tried that. We found that it only loosened up her throat muscles.
Anyway, back to Carnifax, how does the backpack work?
Nice. Thanks. Slide down easily.
Just thought about an add-on that would have been cool. An extra head for Generations Springer with a removable face for what happened in LSotW.
From an alternate universe...
"I'm sorry, were you still using that?"
Truly, a disturbing, horrific accessory to contemplate.... what a great idea!
Or should I say "Sweet"?
wow man. this guy is more masterpiecey than most masterpieces. fuggit-- all hastak masterpieces: feels like we've just hit a pinnacle. i think this what you get when you can put an idea through the ringer creatively enough times, and tweak the mold enough times to get as many aspects to near perfection as possible. botmode is a classy doppelgänger from every angle.
without instructions i probably wouldnt have suspected many parts moved because they were so securely locked together with no obvious hinges. particularly the backpack, which is a bit of a marvel all its own. dont lie-- you know you liked how those fins unfolded.
the shoulders were indeed a PITA until you figure out youre putting 1000% too much thought into it.
however, if i could change one thing, i would change two things, and neither would be the shoulders: first, the thigh covers would be redesigned; and second, my own personal heaven would include an overlord with hands that had ball joints at the base of the fingers.
before i think i would have said MPP10 was my toy of the year. he's been bumped, for obvious reasons.
The maniacally grinning butcher finally arrived this past Saturday (thanks to the awesome service from The Chosen Prime) and words cannot described just how amazing this piece is. I don't think I've ever been this excited for a figure in my entire life. Opening the gigantic box and seeing Carnifex nestled in all that styrofoam was like a thousand Christmases rolled into one. This is THE figure to own. I've only had him for a few days now, yet I am still in awe over the excellence that MMC has achieved. I honestly don't think I'll ever be able to look at any other Transformer the same.
Some crappy phone pics that don't do him justice

And like many others have said, the included instructions were useless for the shoulder assembly transformation. Wotafa's video review was the only resource that clearly showed you the proper steps, and once you go through it once and understand the locking points it becomes second nature.
Okay, not to wish to sound too much like a plum, I'm having trouble getting him to hold his gun, the tab seemingly just won't fit. Am I (probably) missing something super obvious as in all the videos it tabs right in!
Check for mold flash, maybe? Because yeah, that tab should fit perfectly. Have you tried both hands?
