Yesterday My brother found an MP Megs for 20 bucks at the silver snail(That's a store name by the way) And it was like, 99% complete. (Missing the black parts that clip on the top of his legs, and Kremzeek, plus the instructions.) It scares me when I look at it. Can anyone clue me in on who he transforms into his gun, and are those black things very important?
For 20 bucks, huh? IMO, the gods have blessed ye, and for you to pick him up, spin him around and then try to transform him, ye are tempting The Fates. leave him in awesome bot mode and be thankful.
Pretty much exactly the same as G1 Megatron, just a bit more..detailed. Yeah, they form part of the handle. Got him MISB for $90 and I feel like I underpayed. $20 for the single best TF ever made is not overpaying, even if it is missing things.
Wow.. what a nightmare that is going to be without the instructions. I have them and it took me over an hour to get all those little parts in the right spots and snapped back together.
The black pieces that are missing are important, but if you can find the just justitoys accessory pack for him, I think that it came with diecast versions of them, plus you get all the stock parts for him and you've got yourself a complete weapon mode too. Toynk.com has it in stock I believe. Good people to deal with I think.
I got him a few weeks ago for £65 from Kapow and think he's utterly brilliant. You are a lucky so-and-so for getting him that cheap! You need to get the leg panels if you can -- he'll look very odd without them. It took me two days to figure out his transformation with the instructions (not a full 48 hours, but four hours on one day before I gave and stopped and an hour the next). It is one of the most vexing and satisfying transformations ever. I now have it down to 10 minutes to turn him into a gun and 15 to turn him back into robot mode (which, somewhat mysteriously, is harder!).
I don't get those people who can't transform him. I can do it drunk with no problems. Guess I'm just awesome at transformers.
That was my face when I read 20 bucks lol. But still, I'm glad I paid ~$90 MIP with all accessories. =P
this^ once through with instructions 30 mins, then after that 10-15 mins every time, back to bot mode is harder at least at the extend-o hips, they never want to come apart, find the instructions online if you can, there is one guy always asking for the arm parts, see if you can buy the leg ones off him too lol
