I had the G2 Constructicons as a kid, and this definitely strokes my nostalgia, so I think I’m gunna have to get this, and especially if it might mean that they might come out of retirement and take a stab at the final jewel of JG1, IE Deathsaurus, Star Saber and Victory Leo.

I would be interested in seeing their Metroplex in Metrotitan or Necroplex colors, and perhaps seeing their PMOP in Nemesis colors.

I also wouldn’t particularly want it, but I imagine there are fans that would want a Black Zarak from their Scorponok, assuming they tighten up those knees, IIRC about what plagued that figure.

 

The reason I didn't buy this originally - I only want 1 Devastator and it's going to be FT.

The reason I bought this 5 minutes ago - I can't wait for FT any longer, I don't want to die w/out having a proper Devastator.

 

Was there any mention of any fixes to the design, specifically the pin issue that a few people here have run across?

 

I just hope this means there's still life in this company. Even if we just get some re-issues and repaints of their previous ones would be great!

yeah, was really excited for the original, but after i got it, it was a real let down by the bad after sale support of this. when i had to get replacement parts, i was specifically told by my supplier that MM would be allowing one and only one claim per customer. i got my replacement parts but when they came, one piece was cracked again just like the original and was told too bad, so sad. real souring experience after dropping so much $ to purchase. i haven't touched it much ever since in fear of something else breaking. drastic difference between this and Diabolus Rex re-issue i got prior, which has been solid and have not regretted getting. adding LEDs to the head and blaster now to this new colour is just another insult to injury i feel.  

 

Ah, well, guess I’m waiting for Iron Factory to make a Devastator, after all. ^v^

 

Wait what are these issues that you’re talking about? Mine was fine, transformed it back and forth a few times, then it went in the display cabinet and hasn’t been touched since. What do I need to look out for?

 

so. The light for the bust doesn't appear to work and the instructions mention nothing about any additional steps other than providing a battery. Is this common and, if so, is there a fix/extra step I'm missing or am I just SOL?

 

Anyone else think a Shattered Glass version in this mold would look amazing?

 

I've recently been turned onto this line - great looking figures! It looks like some folks have had QC issues though. what's the general consensus on this guy now?

 

I still really like mine. The fully integrated parts at this size is nuts and they're all really fun to transform. Nobody feels like an afterthought which is rare for devastator

 

I don't have any issues with my set. I know some had some minor issues with pins working their way loose (just push em back in) but I haven't experienced that myself. I love all the figures in this line, Devastator is no exception.

 

i have all the MM citybots, the only issue after all these years is the hoses on Omega's Arm (I think this is from the MM upgrade kit) have gotten brittle and snapped. Otherwise, virtually no issues.
