I’ve never bought Master Made before. I’m seriously tempted. Are they worth the money?

I was going to use my Bonus to get Perfect Effect Warden but this guy isn’t that much more expensive and it looks like an amazingly engineered figure.

I only have Fortress Maximus, it's a well built figure with lots of features. Assuming the others are of similar quality I'd say they're worth if you like their design.

If you need one more reason to get the line, I heard that this is Master Made's last hurrah in TF before going into their original IP...

I only heard it in passing while shooting the breeze with a friend in China. Something about Master Made pivoting towards their own original IP. This was back in December and after the 3rd party/KO clampdown scares. I didn't press on him on it as we are both not collectors of the line. Hearsay and speculation, most likely.

Thanks all. Found someone selling the deluxe boxset of MM optimus prime locally. Might just grab him too :)  Mind you, first time buying a Mastermade figure, but have a very good feeling that they'll be awesome!

I'm not giving it any further merit, but it should be noted that there's not been another prototype revealed in some time. I think the Powermaster Prime was the last, which for some reason was released before the Devastator. It's been pretty quiet since on the reveal front. Although, on the other hand, I believe a number of older figures are scheduled to be reissued.

I don't really like conjecture so reached out to the company to see their response on it being said that they're no longer doing the TF lines.

Ha, I love MasterMade but running out of display room. So when I read this might be their last hurrah, it actually made me lean "Well, that's just extra incentive to get Devvy since I know I won't have to get any more."

Here's my mastermade shelf - which is why I'm waffling with Devvy as he wouldn't fit and I would need to rejiggle the display.

He came in today, probably tied for my favorite with Odin right now. The hardest part is deciding which head to use for combined mode, I love the SDness of MM (I don't have any of the busts for the other figures as such), but for some reason his combined head being the same size as the individuals heads also appeals to me.

Only one I know of for sure is the Macross one in Stranger2306 picture. I hadn't heard of them at all until they released it.

Honestly, I'd go back and edit your original post to say "My friend assumes it's MM's last hurrah". Just saying "I hear that this is..." gives it a little too much credence. As you can see, people already read that and take it as fact, replying before seeing your explanation.

I mean, so there hasn't been any new announcements lately, during a pandemic that has slowed EVERYTHING down, okay... I think it's a bit of a jump to assume it's their last figure because of IP crackdowns that as of yet haven't really affected Transformer 3P.

    It's just a bit of a stretch.

Honestly,  I don\'t think mastermade is going under,
If they where, Devestator sales will get them out, as, wow, Devestator has gotten so much more attention than any other Mm figure,  sure pandemic is going to slow em down but rumors are just rumors.

Maybe that person who claims this is MM last figure , just hasn\'t gotten any news from them, I mean. Its a pandemic.

And they  released a reissue of MetroPlex- TITAN just 2 months  ago, they\'ll be fine, itll just be a little slow
