Yeah, Warden was one of my favorite pieces, and I was hoping their Scorp would be on the same level. I doubt it will ever happen though, so I might pick this one up.

I have seen Warden and Leonidas in hand, quite a mess but looks good and solid materials. To each his own but I don't think they meet the finish of these MM products. I haven't seen Gorira, but man he looks great.

Agreed. They are pretty darn good without the addon, but for me it's a must-have. I have the MM bug, they just did so well with these.

Don't really understand what you mean by calling them a mess as they're cohesive in design and as you stated made from quality materials like diecast, strong, finished plastics, etc..

I love Master Made products but at the same time I feel it's pretty dishonest to put them over products like those.

Totally; everyone has their preferences and for me at least this is a case of putting two really, REALLY good companies against each other rather than a good and bad.

I picked up Apollo today and I'm really amazed by the quality. The plastic on this is great and much better than my Hasbro masterpiece stuff. Which leaves me wondering what other 3P companies have this same type of quality plastic and finish? I've tried googling it but it's not something I've seen mentioned. Any idea?

From the three mentioned from PE, Warden, Leonidas, and Gorira, I only have Leonidas, and I have to say that from the 2 MM figures I've gotten (Diabolus and Scorp), MM is better in being closer to 100% perfect in regards to QC, clean engineering, well torqued joints, etc. Leonidas is good, but the elbows were super weak for Lion mode until I tightened them up, and the cannon sections that peg onto the butt flaps like to come off really easily. The fit of the guns in the fists are also pretty loose. It also has a ton of joints that can all be a bit of a hassle to sort out easily when posing, but that might be nitpicking as that could just be a fair side effect of having that much crazy articulation. When it comes to sculpt design and paint/colours, they are about even, and if you're speaking strictly about paint, for the most part PE has that lead as it uses a lot more painted sections than MM.

Well, the hasbro stuff is like a plastic sprue so I'm guessing they inject the colored plastic rather than paint a grey plastic for parts. This makes it, well, look 'cheap' imo. The MM Apollo's Grey parts have a matt/rigid feel and look really good. I'm wondering who else has that type of finish.

Got the mini bust head for MM Scorponok in as well as the full figure. Cost came in at a pretty reasonable level.

Cost and order info click here.

I have pe warden and Leonidas and MM Apollo, titan, and rex.

I find the perfect effect stuff fun to look at, awesome accessories but I'm afraid to transform or pose them much bc I think they are pretty fragile and prone to breakage (Leonidas especially, less so with warden).

On the flip side, mm stuff I could let my kids mess with and their plastic is similar to unique toys. Very sold and rigid an

REALLY waiting for the FortMax reveal....

I think it's great that Diabolus doesn't need a not chibi head option. I think he works for both chibi and non-chibi as is. Another great MM figure.

Wouldnt it be cool if MM did other citybots from the IDW line, like Caminus, Navitas or Vigilem? Or even Tidal Wave or (dare i say it) dabble in chibi combiners?

I went in on scorpionox just because a local seller was offering a deal for him. I think MM bots would look great next to their Maketoys or X citybots
