Although I was hoping to see colored prototypes by now, I'm glad to see that they haven't forgotten about this guy.

Been waiting for this, at least I can get pretty close to it. Here's the scale if anyone is interested.

Looks very cool! I especially like how solid and clean he looks from the back (and for some reason, I'm a sucker for wheels in a boy's calves - just looks really cool) but... what exactly is he based on? The small Optimus' chest looks nothing like the character's chest (bears a passing resemblance to classics Optimus) and the shoulder guns look nothing at all like PmOp's. The rest of the surface detail doesn't match either but would be much easier to overlook if those core things were right. So I'm guessing there's some other PmOp he's emulating rather than the G1?

    LOL Masterpiece scale

He IS ginrai from masterforce, but mastermade's figures were mostly SD size redesigns, their overlord, fortress maximus and omega supreme looked nothing like their original. Rumors said they are moving to combiners which I personally looking forward to.

Wonder why they're still hiding the alt mode.

I think it looks dope, I'll probably bag myself a copy.

But where is that devastator MM, I haven't forgotten!

The chest of the smaller one looks like Maketoys Striker Manus.
But I think the differences are down to the standard Master Made stylization because iirc their Overlord was stylized to a similar extent as PMOP

Their designs aren't "Based" on anything. They do their own unique twist on stuff and it's much better because of that.

That being said I have the same confusion about the smaller figure. How does he fit into the torso? Does he fit in at all, or is it a faux torso? Why does the design look different?

I have a feeling that the smaller guy doesn't fit into the larger bot.

It’s a fake torso. The front of the truck cab is on the smaller bot’s back. The real truck cab is what you see on the larger bot’s torso

edit: I misunderstood what I was looking at it seems. Theres a cab hanging off the back of the larger bot mode. Seems I don't have a clue what is what.

I guess they are including the normal size head in the final package, supposedly the smaller bot transforms into a normal size head while the SD size head goes with a fake torso like the other titan bots, same thing with their devy where hook may or may not be a part of the combiner.

I am pretty sure the back of Ginrai - as can be seen on picture from the side - corresponds to Super Ginrai’s chest. I’ll admit I also don’t immediately see how Ginrai folds up into the chest, but it could be that something flaps over Super Ginrai’s back to cover whatever backkibble is there from Ginrai’s ‘chest’ mode.

And either way, I don’t see them changing their MO when it comes to the statue kits (which seems like a pretty solid business model for their line).

Anyways, still the same prototype as half a year ago. Feels like MM is pulling a Maketoys here. :p

The next big TF convention in China is around December, if we can get a coloured mold then it means it's not too far away, but otherwise it's just gonna stay MIA. Hopefully they will annouce their god bomber as well.

man this looks great, would want to see some alt mode pics soon. I think I am more excited for their devastator though, I would love it if they did a star saber as well.

Looks awesome. Hope he has tons of articulation similar to maketoys.

At this point, I hope that he still EXISTS and will actually release. MM seems to be off their regular schedule...
