So my 10 year old decided to be Master Chief for Halloween, but when the costume arrived he was a little disappointed by the half-mask that came with it. I had a 3D printed helmet laying around that I found on Thingiverse, but it was in 15 separate pieces and mostly pink... Long story short, I spent about a weeks worth of spare time and part of this past weekend completing it so he could wear it this year. A little foam padding Velcroed inside was used to make it fit. He's happy with how it turned out, which is all I could have hoped for.

That is really nice! Looks miles better than the full helmet that Disguise offers!

Thanks, if nothing else it'll be much sturdier.

Thanks. He says he can see well enough. It's really only yellow cellophane over a clear visor. I can always take it off if it gets to bothersome.
