Inspired by uusers amazing version of this i figured it was finally time to try my hand at it initially i wanted to just try recreate his design but the more i got into it the more i found things i wanted to change for me so.... first off i hated the energon omega feet,i modded the legs so the bend in reverse and have been flipped round and feet attach with magnets and supports,also this adds and extra couple inches to omegas height making him slightly taller then my devastators,on another note i always thought the legs looked to short on this thing anyways... also uuser had the great idea of reversing omega so he could install the chest with more ease on the back and reverse everything around,as good as this was i didnt like the fact the thing was covered in screw holes as a result and more importantly the claw was on the wrong hand as a result,that said i know this was a conscious choice because of the concept art he was using and if mine turn out a fractions as good as his ill be very happy indeed! i wanted to capture what uuser did but go for a more g1 vibe so iv integrated more parts from the g1 omega,also the shoulders are now both the same so when it comes to painting there will be more symmetry there and again i wanted to get further away from the energon figure,this shoulder mod was a complete nightmare as none of the parts match up i had to scratch build a connector with cogs! and last but not least i managed to pull of the transforming tank!it has a double ball jointed head which has much greater motion im really exited about this project but iv still got a long way to go so dont be harsh!haha awaiting on a face from frenzy rumble and have yet to do the cannon and wings ect but im making good progress! thoughts and comments will be greatly appreciated

oh i definantly am!iv done sooo many decepticons and to be honest i just never realized,also i kept getting commissioned to do them,but i just got this guy for commissions who is autobot mad so im doing loads of stuff for him,i just think my favorite colours are purples and blacks haha
cheers cool!i hope the paint app brings it all together! iv not measured him yet but he has a few inches on devs for sure,at the last check i belive a standard custom devs is around 16 inches and energon omega is 17 inches (if were talking head to toe) and my omega has an extra couple on that so id guess about 19 inches and with the wings on will be around 22ish,yeah i wanted him to be bigger like the cartoon.cheers
God damn scotty I have literally bought a omega from eBay in the past couple days to do something similar to this! Was only gonna add wings an sort the arms out but leave the feet on mine. I can't wait to see this but mine will look totally different! Oh and shorter - kinda want him for a fight with my Hercules when it's finished. But boy you keep knocking some brilliant customs out
