I'm a little dissapointed that, so far, the playarts sheperd looks to not have a helmet.

A helmet would go a LONG way to cover up that shitty head sculpt. :(

Exactly! That, and it makes sense considering every Sheperd is different. I have the DC Direct figure, and with the helmet he has it does a good job of covering the face and pretty much matches my own Sheperd.

Besides that, I always wear the standard helmet- the one where his visor is down but you can still see the face... the one the DC Direct version comes with. Mass Effect 3 also does a good job of removing the helmet during story scenes, so generally you can wear a face covering helmet but it doesn't ruin anything.

    Yeeeeeeah FemShep!!!

I have Ash preordered at BBTS. Might cancel it, face doesn't looks right to me. Garrus looks spot on though.

All of the heads look off to me:

The sculpts on Shepard and Ashley's heads look pretty bad, barely holding a resemblance to the characters.

Garrus' looks too gray, his head always looked tan to me, even after he took a blast to the face.

I agree with the head sculpts, which seems to be a problem with Playarts when trying to make more realistic characters- it ends up being more of a charicature. Ever since they showed the first shots of them I thought they looked off, but since I don't use default Shepard, I was fine with that as long as I could throw a helmet over it. Not saying I won't get them though, but it's change from a must have to a "must consider".

I don't believe the Play arts ever were on BBTS for preorder. I would have seen them when I was doing my preorder for wave 2.

They were. I have a preorder for Shep and Garrus. They were pulled from the site but didn't cancel the preorders... yet.

Looks like the Play Arts just popped back up on BBTS. It's on the front page.

Its the Incisor. Weapon choice really was unfortunate there. The Vindicator and the Incisor. Could have only been worse if they included the Shuriken.

If you get all the figures, I guess it really doesn't matter, as you can just swap the weapons.

But as far as the Playarts goes, why the hell did they give Shepard the Valkyrie? That gun blows and you rarely use it.

They could make a boatload of cash if they released a weapons pack. Maybe pack it with an arsenal locker or some cool way to display them without the figures. If they don't, there's always 3rd party...

Wonder if the weapons from the DC Direct/Big Fish figures will work with the Play Arts

Doubtful, they seem like they'd be much too small. Except possibly the Claymore, the pictures I've seen of that with anyone except Grunt make it look far too big to be in scale with the DC Direct figures.
