Big Fish I guess is going to release them now. The DC Direct wave 1's came out late last year though. They're ok, but not the most articulated.
So despite a total lack of news on these it seems they are at least starting to show up somewhere. I don't know if Big Fish ever said which retailers were going to carry them (or even when they were set for release), hopefully not comic store exclusives. Person who took this didn't say where they got it. Nor did they elaborate on what the DLC codes actually unlock for those interested.
I attained the Wave 1 from last year off Ebay. The only figure I wasn't happy with is Thane. He has the most assinine pose. Shepard, Tali and Grunt are pure win though. I want that Wave 2 bad. But, the other question is, will there be a Tali, Jacob, Jack, Samara? Or the DLC characters? I'd hate to not have at least Tali in there, she is in all 3 freaking games!
I highly doubt you'll ever see another wave after Legion, Garrus and Mordin. Its all been so monumentally poorly handled from day 1.
As much as I hate to agree, yeah. But, I can always dream right? By all rights, they should release them. At least Liara, the rest I could maybe live without. Also, the DLC is only for XBox and PC?! PS3 get no love?!
To be honest, if they playarts figures go through I'm not so sure I want to invest in the rest of these figures. I finished the game so I'm not sure if some tiny bit of DLC would really be worth... $15 a figure or so.
DLC is only multiplayer stuff by all reports. I guess it'll be a Spectre Pack or something. I've been waiting for Legion and Mordin since the very first pictures showed up so long ago, the bonus codes are just that, an extra bonus for buying something I would've bought anyway. I really hope people won't buy these for the DLC. That'd be like buying the Razer peripherals for the DLC codes. If Play Arts did Legion or a standard Geth that'd be a day one pre-order. A white geth I'd be all over, make it look like my MP Geth.
Men, I want a Miranda Lawson, preferably in her ME2 loyalty outfit, DC Direct museum quality and life size. Yeah, that would do the trick...
Was I the only one who bought the Normandy replica Dark Horse done? It ain't perfect. Kinda small, but I do like it...I do wish Play Arts Kai will do one in they're line, since they did vehicles from peace walker and all
In my defense, I did just get into Mass Effect two months ago. Not to mention, when I was searching for figures originally, I didn't see them anywhere.
I got it from BBTS, but unfortunately there was a part broken right out of the package and I had to send it back. Still waiting on a replacement or I may end up with store credit.
Apparently people who pre-ordered from the Bioware store have already started receiving the Big Fish figures. They have since been removed from said store. No idea whats going on there. Its also been confirmed that there are no special unlocks from the DLC codes. It just seems to unlock a Veteran pack, so PS3 players arent missing out.
