You heard right, people! Just when you thought you've seen the last of Mass Effect, a new game is suddenly announced from out of the blue. It will be developed by BioWare Montreal by using the Frostbite 2 engine.

    Here's what Gametrailers have written:

As long as they dont cluster f*ck the ending, it will be all good. But if its a human main character, then by Miranda's sweet ass, I'll make that guy look like my Shep.

I'll take as playing as a turian any day, since they're introducing
    Nyreen Kandros
in the Omega DLC pack. Yes! Customising gender, facial markings and class would be so much fun!

Yup, I'm looking forward to this new set of games. With the fact that this new engine is going to be EXTREMELY detailed, I'm going to have loads of fun in the universe. Hooray!

I don't expect I'll be getting this. ME3's terrible endings made me stop caring about the ME universe. Which is a real shame. The games were all great, but there's no point, when none of the endings leave the universe in a state that I'm happy with.

I had never heard of the Frostbite 2 engine.
Are there any current games that run it.

This is good news because the multiplayer in Mass Effect 3 was surprisingly good.

While I don't have any of the original ME trilogy games (was planning on trying 2, but after hearing how bad ME3's endings were I lost interest), I did hear some insanely stupid rumor that ME4 was going to involve Shepard 1000 years in the future and somehow using a reaper for their ship.

Good to hear that's not happening. I hate seeing good sci-fi franchises die because of shitty stories *cough*OtherM*cough*.

    Huh, interesting.

You're missing out on the greatest sci-fi series of recent years, and I'm saying that after having played ME3 and hating the ending.

Enh, I'm still saving up for Borderlands 2 since that seems to be more of what I like. I might jump on with ME4, depends on the reviews I guess.

Dont pass up on some good games. I never got to play one since I have a PS3, but ME2 was outfuckingstanding and ME3 was an awesome ride till the last 5 mins. While the endings are of the "WTF just happened here" the rest of the game is fantastic.
Oh and just as a side note, Borderlands 2? Buy it. Now. Do Violence. Get Cash.

This should be interesting, but like many others the story of ME3 soured me on the Universe as a whole.

That said, the multiplayer team have been doing a great job. i never thought I'd see this much additional content on a console game provided for free.

    No kidding, right?

Well, there's a theory about one of the endings which leaves the universe pretty much as it was before the final sequence. I could see how it could still work after that ending -but it will take a little explaining.
But yes, it is a shame that Bioware made the ending the way it did.

The endings of Mass Effect 3 is disappointing on many levels, however the ride there is absolutely the best time I have ever had playing a video game -ever.
Borderlands 2 is a great game, but if you are choosing $60 for Borderlands 2 over $60 for all three Mass Effect games you are making a terrible mistake.

Honestly, Bioware should have taken the opportunity to use the indoctrination theory to save face. Instead they decided it was a better idea to add a troll ending.

Between the Extended Cut endings and Leviathan I got enough story to accept the endings. They still aren't great, but I'm okay playing another ME game.

Actually, that rumor could be true if
the Control ending is the canon they go with. Mark Meer or Jennifer Hale would simply take the place of EDI for the ship.
I'm okay with that, after the Extended Cut that was my favorite ending anyways.

And Metroid isn't dead, Nintendo is just sitting on that one for awhile until people forget about Other M which is a really good idea. Gearbox is doing the same thing with Duke Nukem.

    Ugh. I hated that whole
The elusive man was actually right at the last second bullshit. Destroy is the only ending that makes even the slightest bit of sense, and that was made stupid by it pointlessly destroying Edi and the Geth.

I think that was to try and make it not sound appealing.
Encouraging you instead to throw away everything you've been trying to do since the beginning. Thats why Synthesis and Control are bad endings. Destroy would be okay if it wasnt for the pointless 'But you fuck up the galaxy too lolol no good ending for you' horseshit.

And to go with the text that Gryph and Dirge have hidden there, there is nothing to link that ending with the aspect that everyone hates. NOTHING. There's no connectivity in the fiction there.
It's just a forced reason to make the choice "difficult".

It wasn't difficult for me. It was pretty much the only option. I was confused and kind of pissed at the way they tried presenting them, but I didn't hesitate for a second.

They tried to make him out like a Magneto or Megatron-type character (Right idea, wrong way of getting there) at the last second, but the background wasn't there. I like it because
IMO only the Shepard-Reapers would have had the knowledge to start rebuilding the mass relays right away. Destroy, while correct, I don't believe the races could get the relays working before everyone starves to death orbiting Earth.

    But, as much as Hudson
pushed the Synthesis Ending, that is probably going to be the "true" ending and we'll have Borg-lite options
    for the next game.
