These come out August 25th. Honestly I think Grunt looks the best out of these.

August 25th? I would have thought they'd come out closer to the games launch, but I dunno, I know nothing about planning this stuff.
Out of those, I'm not too keen on any of them. If Legion makes an appearance in a future wave, then I'll probably bite.

Y'know what I'd like to see in this in line?

    One of those build-a-figure thing.

Like each figure comes with different armor or weapons you can give to your characters...or pieces where you can make a model of the Normandy.

If they make a Subject Zero one, I'm all over it.
    The rest I'll pass.

Shit, seriously? I actually thought the figures looked pretty good. Except for Shepard, maybe.

    Oh well. :(

Wave 1 is still coming out though, from the look of things...unless it gets pushed back again...

Hah, you're right - wave two's disappeared from my BBTS preorders. Well, at least we're still getting the first wave. Eventually. Hopefully.

I'm crossing my fingers for Play Arts. A game as good as Mass Effect deserves some decent figures. Shame Wave 2 got canceled though, I would've at least gotten Garrus...

In some of their recent releases, Neca has done a fantastic job with sculpting and articulation. I would like to see them grab the license. I don't know what exactly happened, but being over a year since the game came out, and under a year until the sequel, these figures were becoming irrelevent.

EDIT: Also, even if Neca got the license, there could still be play arts. I would love to get some play arts versions as well, but at their pricepoint I wouldn't want to get a whole line.

I'd be fine with Neca. Play arts are fine, but they're just too big for me to want to buy many, if any at all. As always, figuarts would be excellent. Hell I'd be fine with Mcfarlane, the Halo Reach line has been very good from what I've purchased.

Either way as long as it isn't dc direct I'll be reasonably happy. Don't know how they still have the money to keep making those things.

    Anyone else see this?

    They mad.

God I love BioWare. But I really hope they're not just gonna drop the entire idea of Mass Effect figures altogether.

Yeah, not sure how they got suckered into using DC Direct. Probably the lowest bidders on the contract, but now they know why.

I know next to nothing about DC Direct. Are they a shady company or something?

Edit: Ah, okay, they make the Ratchet and Clank figures as well, which are not that good. I'd be up for Neca getting the license, and maybe even some Play Arts stuff. But please, BioWare, don't go with McFarlane.
