Inhumans TV Show Will Take Place Partly On The Moon Key word: partly, so we will see the moon, but it wont be the main setting.
Sometimes it's in the Himalayas, sometimes it's on the moon, sometimes it's in the Hudson River. This time it looks like they're going all the way back to the jungle island days, which I don't actually remember to be honest.

I'd be all in for Inhumans if it was a Netflix show. That would be exciting, and they could do something really interesting with it, like the Jenkins series. I'm not expecting much from an ABC show, though. Dumb, safe, boring.
Of course. There's also Showtime and HBO. But ABC suggests it's probably going to be more like SHIELD. Meaning, mostly boring and barely tolerable.
The Netflix shows, like every Marvel TV show, are produced by ABC. And The Inhumans are being done as an event series. AKA do 8 episodes but throw money at it like you're doing 22. So it might approach GoT level per episode budget.
It's not about who's producing them. It's about where they're being aired and for what audience. Think of something like Dexter (in the early seasons when it was decent), and the difference between the episodes when they were aired on Showtime compared to the same episodes when they were later aired on CBS. A big difference. Now imagine the show if it was created only for CBS in the first place. Would have been a much lesser show. I don't care how much money they throw at an episode, if it's created to air on ABC, it's going to be bland, safe and aimed at the widest possible audience. For Netflix or some cable network, they could create a more niche show and actually do something interesting with it. I mean, for those of you who put up with Agents of SHIELD or actually even like it, more power to you. That's great. But I like the Inhumans and would like for the producers to aim higher.
First thing, Dexter was never decent. It was always shit. Second, broadcast networks have some comics code level regulations they have to abide by that cable networks don't.
Yes, no shit. Thank you for helping explain my point. I want this Inhumans: Not the Midwest elderly couple-safe version they would air on ABC.
I mean it's not like the Attilan inhumans have had an underwater character since the jump, oh wait.....
Honestly after how bland and uninspired SHIELD was during S3 when it was inhumans prime time, I'm thinking I'll just skip this. Too many Marvel things to follow right now.
