Animation looks a bit stiff (I get that's the style they are going) and what little dialogue we have is a bit flat.

But dammit, its Hit-Monkey so I'm in.

 

I don't think it's a style so much as just cheap and terrible looking. :/

Anyone remember Earth's Mightiest Heroes? To this day still one of the best (if not the best period) animated adaptions of Marvel's properties, up there with the likes of Spectacular Spider-Man and the DC Animated Universe. Then they replaced it with the much more generic MCU-based "Avengers Assemble". I'm still mad about that.

They also dubbed over Keaton's original reprisal of Spider-Man with Drake Bell.  

 

Bitch about anything you want with this trailer, that was Fat Fucking Cobra in animation and that's amazing

 

At least it isn't animated by that studio WB seems to use for their shows.

It's what they're going for because it seems to be the best they can do with whatever little budget they have for this show. I can see the shortcuts they're leaning on to make it work.

Either way, ya the show could look better, but hopefully it will be a fun enough ride.

I just like Hit Monkey.
