I don't understand the craze for this game. I like Marvel SO much more than DC, but DC games are always better. The only good Marvel game was the original Spider-Man on the PS1.

I bought the first one when I got my PS3, and I beat it in 3 days, and really felt let down at the ending. I loved the amount of playable characters, but that was it. I wish they would go back and focus on one game based on one hero. And we've had enough of Spider Man.

    Sorry for the rant.

    *AHEM*

And the only good game I've played that's DC related is "Justice League: Heroes" and even that wasn't as good as M:UA.

Ironically enough, I've yet to play a decent DC game but I have about 13 Marvel games dating back to the NES and Gameboy that I love to this day.

    Okay, here we go:

Spider-Man 2 was a good game, but we have had a few too many Spider-Man games the past few years.

The Incredible Hulk game I didn't like. I thought the story wasn't good and the graphics were really bad.

Wolverine would have been a good game with better graphics and a better story. But the bloody takedowns were pretty cool.

I knew right after I posted that I was goona get a good amount of "WAT!?!?!?", so anymore.

Oh, and Twin Twist, no comment.

Well, these are just in my opinion. Not many people agree with me on these, but here we go:

DC Universe vs. Mortal Kombat: I thought this game was AWESOME! I love Mortal Kombat, and mixing in the DC characters just made it all the better. It was just an overall awesome game that I was addicted to for months.

Watchmen: The End is Nigh: Maybe it was because I loved the movie so much, or just because I love the fighting mechanics, but this game was very entertaining. Granted many people thought of it as the worst game ever, but still.

And even though it isn't out 'til Tuesday, I can already add this one to the list.

Batman: Arkham Asylum: This is the greatest Batman game I have played, even from the demo. It has an awesome voice cast, and the story is going to be amazing. The graphics are very crisp, and the villians are freakin' insane.

Oh, and an honorable mention goes out to Batman Begins, just for establishing the "fear factor" in the Batman games. The reason I love the DC games so much is because the stories are usually pretty good, and they don't seem repetitive like some of the Marvel games I have played.

I am sorry if the post causing the argument offended some people, but can we move on? Seriously.

Oh, and I forgot to mention Batman: Vengeance. This game had excellent voice acting at the time, and the story was very entertaining. This was the game that really got me started on the DC games.

Ok, all those games suck though. It is fact. And no worries, I'm not offended just confused. There's literally a precedent for DC making shitty game after shitty while Marvel has a lot of generics but some solid gold titles.

Honestly. Maximum Carnage, Marvel VS Capcom, Incredible Hulk Ultiamte Destruction, Ultimate Spider-Man, X-Men Legends, Wolverine for the 360 all those just off the top of my head.

The decent DC game I played was the animated Batman game for SNES or Genesis.

Well, just out of interest, what makes the Marvel games so awesome compared to the DC games?

Oh, and Arkham Asylum is currently being rated as one of the the best comic book games of all time. So, actually, it doesn't suck.

    Quality and better developers, typically.

I remember playing the first Spider-Man for the PS1/N64. Amazing.

DC has the ability to license out and get some great games. Arkham is going to be a great game. But that doesn't change the track record of non stop crap up until then.

Just from the two you listed. Watchmen was an incredibly boring, slow beat em up. It cost far too much, which was amazing considering it's shitty production values. The game looks like ass. And the Mortal Kombat? Silly story. Poor fighting engine. Best part of that game? Blade's jugs.

Well, I actually listed 4 games.

Batman Begins had awesome graphics. Story could have been better, but it gave ideas for other Batman ideas.

Most of the Batman games were actually pretty good if you ask me, the worst in a while was probably Dark Tomorrow. Well, we all have our own opinions.

I do wish/hope that we get/got Anti-Venom. That might convince me to at least rent it.

I wanna get this no matter what people say. Yes I have played the first one and it could have been better but it was pretty good (I played with two of my friends so that probably made me like it more than playing by myself).

Did you hear that you can play as Aunt May? And I heard that Stan Lee had been written into the game so maybe they made him playable too.

But I want Halo 3: ODST and Modern Warfare 2 before I get this. And a bunch of TFs so yea it will be a while.

Well, ofcourse it's like the last one. It's updated, yes. But it's similar.

Loved the first one. Will pick it up after ODST.
