Yep they have a lot of name drops and hints to future baddies if it gets a second season. (It better get a second season this season was awesome)

Fisk. An absolute master performence from Vincent D'Onofrio. One episode was all it took for me. Though, that car door scene was... Disturbing.
We watched the first five episodes to Dare Devil today and they are all right. You can definitely tell this is the first season because they haven't figured out what they really want to do with anything yet. I do feel it is taking a little too long for Matt to take the name DareDevil and give us his damn costume. On the other hand, I like the things that are happening with Fisk, and right now, he is the best thing about the show. The acting is decent, but the female characters seem to have the same bad writing as they do in the DC stuff. I guess these writers just don't know how to write strong female characters in anything these days. Oh, and I know the comics were violent, but this is a little excessive at times. Finally, I do love the subtle hints at the movies, especially the Magic Hammer and Iron Suit comment from one of the Russians. I definitely want to watch more, but I'm glad this is not a weekly series otherwise it might not have my patience.

The fight scenes are nothing short of amazing. It's just a shame that the lighting in some scenes makes it hard to tell what's going on
I'm sorry, but I just don't see what all of the love is over it. I'm not saying it is bad, I am enjoying it, but I see all of these people absolutely loving it and I'm all like, "Am I watching the same show?" I mean, there was a guy that said he wishes Flash was this good. I'm sorry, no, this show is only half as good as Flash. These episodes would have been better 45 minutes in length rather than 55 minutes. Yes, it has great action, the acting is good for the most part, and like I said, Fisk is amazing. But the show doesn't have any sense of direction. There are too many factions going on and it is taking Matt way too long to become DareDevil. I'm not saying he has to become DD in the first episode, but I have watched five episodes and he still doesn't even use his baton/staff/cane when he fights. THis isn't DD, this is just some TV show about a masked vigilante who talks like Batman that just happens to be set in the Marvel universe. Again, it isn't bad, but I was expecting so much better from Marvel. I guess I shouldn't be surprised though given the quality of Agents of Shield.
Unless there is a real NYC that sort of looks like it, I think I did see it when Ben and the other guy were discussing stuff near the water and it panned over Manhattan. Wasn't clearly it, just one of the skyscrapers. Which it should be and not focusing in on it. Ben had a newspaper article on his wall of the Battle of New York and they kept referring to reconstruction going on. BTW: I'm only up to ep 3 so I don't know what is in ep 4 and beyond. Will sort of suck since I am watching it with a friend and we can only get together ever Saturday so it will take us a month to get through the season. 2-3 episodes per week.

Your takes are hilarious. daredevil used the black outfit in the comics when his origin story was being told, without all the modern gear. It's part of the story to learn show he becomes who he becomes. Too many factions? Ur fucking clueless. Russians, chinese, japanese, and money guy. Sorry if that's rocket science. These factions are united by a force we learn about and seeing how the factions develop is again... Part of the story It's like you have no patience for I dunno a story playing out through... Storytelling keep posting though, it's great
