This is my first custom, and I decided I would post progress of it. I am going for a 90's Jim Lee X-Men Magneto. The references I am using are: and My progress so far is this: I disassembled the Apocalypse Wave Magneto and the Giant Man Wave Red Guardian to get this result: Heads, lower legs, and lower arms are from the Magneto figure and the rest of the body is from Red Guardian. I am waiting on my order of a loose Marvel Select Magneto to get the cape I need: I'll have to use acetone to remove the star, and then paint the body red. The rest I am still trying to plan out atm. Any suggestions, advice, feedback, and criticism welcome.
Best magneto custom! I love how you did his upper torso to match Lee's. I always loved Lee's interpretation of magneto, and you did awesome on him!
Well the bottom picture is just the Marvel Select Magneto, and I am only using that to cannibalize the cape.
Obligatory: I can't wait to see this custom finished. Jim Lee Magento is my favourite Magneto design.
