So, as we all sadly now are more than aware, the IDW 'Classics' run of the UK Marvel comics gave up after volume 5. I'm aware that the 'Definitive G1 Collection' being put out by - I think- Hachette? - is now in the process of becoming available, but, in the present circumstances, for various reasons I'm not particularly inclined to be going after a physical copy; requiring either unnecessary travelling or delivery, so just wondering, do they as yet have a digital edition available anywhere, via either Kindle store, Comixology, or similar?
No, Hachette don't produce digital copies of their stuff, their focus is on the thing as a physical object to be collected.
Thanks for the update A pity in the present circumstances, but I can understand their thinking. Oh well, this damn cosmic rust / scraplet business won't last forever, and then I can go in search of a Waterstones with a decent graphic novel section, or something.
FYI, the Definitive Collection is released as a partwork via newsagents and other places that sell magazines, rather than via normal bookshops. If you want to go looking for back issues, your best bet may be either online shops or places like Forbidden Planet that keep tons of stock of comic book partworks.
The only way to read the entirety of TFUK is through, frankly, probably illegal or at least dubious means. With some googling (and a robust adblocker), you can find sites that simply post entire runs of comics (you don't have to download anything, but obviously you have to be online) that allow you to read comics online.
Thanks for the advice there, in all cases, and yes, sad but true on probably the only way to currently access it. The cancellation of Idw UK classics 6 was a great shame.
