Maybe Marvel will do a second volume, but this time when he's grown up?

Maybe Whedon and co. are taking a brief hiatus from the series before returning with a new arc in issue 13? Remember, he was only slated to do 12 issues, but signed on for another 12 when offered. I wouldn't be surprised if he needed a little extra time to work out the second arc.

It was always a 5 issue mini series, at least according to the writer in an interview with Wizard. But with it's seemingly bi-monthly status it should take about a year to finish off anyway.

Also, it's not a complete list of titles for the month and the book has slipped to bimonthly. Even if Whedon doesn't take a break between 12 and 13 there might not be an issue for Spetember.
