I foresee the downfall of comic book movies in the near future... I also foresee a lack of brains in the decision making department... Who wants a movie based on the Power Pack???  
The Avengers however looks promising; it'd be nice though if they limit the cast for the first film giving people a chance to get to know five or seven characters instead of like... What was it, over twenty known Avengers members over the course of the years, including now Spider-Woman, Spider-Man, Power Man and Sentry???

 

Well DC was going to make a movie based on the Wonder Twins for a while.. but thankully they seem to have sacked the people who wanted to do that after Catwoman tanked.

I think they should concentrate on keep there exsisting film franchises viable.. like namely removeing the hack thats in charge of X-men 3.

I am rather interested in the previous inteveiw with Arad when he said they wanted to make an " Epic sized " Thor film..

 

Ant-Man?  

All of the heroes in the entire Marvel universe up for potential starring roles in movies and they choose Ant-Man?

 

The Avengers movie makes sense, though. Marvel's other two big teams got flicks, it makes sense that the thrid one would, too. Definitely be interesting to see which of the 40+ Avengers they'll use.

Where's a Luke Cage movie?

 

Last I heard about Luke Cage john Sigleton was going to produce/direct it. As for the avengers if they use Cap Iron man and Thor i'm fine with it. But if they go the route of the 90's tv show.....

 

No doubt there will be reports for all 10 that Nicolas Cage might be in them.

 

When I first read it I immediately thought... oh sweet, Secret Wars the movie.

 

That'd be pretty cheap to make if it kept to the source material, you'd just need to hire 30 guys to stand around doing nothing in superhero costumes for 90 minuites and occasionally punch eachother.

good grief! not all their comics are hits *L* I'd prefer only the major hits, plus keep spiderman awesome, get xmen to stay awesome, and another DD movie, they already set it up in Elektra!

the only things that sound interesting are Capt. America and the Avengers, 10 movies? Are they TRYING to kill the fad? Really, after X-3 comes out I don't see them making many more comic movies, because from everything I've heard X-3 is going to suck so much balls, and the X-Men franchise is what kinda keeps this going.

I really do want another Dare Devil movie, Elektra sucked so bad they need to bring back the awesomeness.

 

I didn't even know there was an Antman.

It's like the big wigs at Marvel were sitting around and one of them said "you know, Spiderman really panned out well, maybe there's some more magic in the insect pool."

IMO, 10 movies is a waste and too excessive, considering the characters they listed as "possibles."
