Let this be the Arkham City of this series!

 

I am so excited but also still greatly annoyed by the peter parker face change.

Its stupid but I still dislike it.

So I'm very mixed on this.

 

So, we're getting the Kravens AND Venom? I'm in. I wonder if we can pick which Spider-man we play with or if the story will have us flip between the two.

 

I wish we got more but what we got was great.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong or missed something in the DLC/Miles, but wasn't there a post credits or some such scene in the first one setting up Harry as Venom? Or at least apparently being the host to some sort of symbiote like thing?

 

There was. This could very well be Harry/Venom.

 

I’m torn. I want this but I’m not ready to spend new condole money for this sequel, not that you can actually find one. I don’t want to support Insomniac just dropping sequels for every new PS launch.

 

That might be inevitable. Sony wants to sell new consoles and the needs games to move sales.

 

I know but it doesn’t seem like there was very much time with the PS4 generation.

 

One thing you all should know, Venom will be voiced by Candyman himself, Tony Todd.

 

2013-2021+ is a lot of time. Almost 10 years.

 

The first game and Miles Morales were so good, and I have a feeling this one won't disappoint either! So excited!

 

Kraven, Green Goblin, Venom, Doc Ock and Lizard are my top villains that I think will be massively featured throughout the game.

Also, despite knowing what Tony Todd sounds like as a voice actor; I can't lie because that voice does fit Venom.

Like, I thought they got the perfect "peter parker" look and his age in the game.

Now its like Mile looks older than Peter at times and confuses the hell out of me when i see Yuri's voice come out of new Peter.

Just doesn't fit and I am still confused by Insomniac's decision.

 

It wasn't theirs. It came down from WAY up in Sony. They weren't thrilled with the idea either as they had to make a whole new head for Peter, but this new look is what we're stuck with going forward.

 

So wish I understood their reasoning…

 

I think Sony wanted them to make him look more like Tom Holland - for some kind of brand synergy or something.

 

Insomniac's public statement says they did it to match Lowenthal's face better to make it an easier process for animation, Yuri also confirms this reason.

 

This game will be amazing, like seriously. Also, can we please have a playable Venom?
