The ability to change aesthetics is cool, but honestly, I'm quite underwhelmed by the very limited tile set that was shown. I hope there's more in the final build, but right now it's a "no" for me.

 

I'm really hoping they have more tilesets than the Super Mario Bros. 1 and New Super Mario Bros. U sets. Like Super Mario Bros. 3 or Super Mario World for example.

 

guess the game may have some uh... questionable material then.

I want all 2d power ups for this. Give me the cape or frog suit.
It in early stages but so far I'm not impressed. It is to basic if it suppose to be a full priced game and not an Eshop game.

 

I'd love to see what people could do with this to totally change how you play Mario. You can already see in the trailer some puzzle-solving parts. Like if they have some SMB2 assets in there, I'd love to see a level where you ride on a bird along the whole level and have to jump on and off to dodge enemies or race through mazes in order to get back on in time.

 

They should have a 3rd option set in the style of SMB3. Other than that, looks cool. I could be into this.

 

It's very possible they will *equallit possible it won't!*

It's not coming out till next year after all. And I know it'd piss some fans off.. But I honestly wouldn't mind if they released other styles as Paid DLC.

 

Game is far from completion. Director even says that they're planning on adding more styles and a music composing tool.

Not gonna lie, I have no desire to buy this to create my own levels, but I expect some amazing creations from other people that I'm sure I'd love to play. Would really like to see someone attempt a SMB3 remake in NSMB style.

Okay. Now they have my attention. That raccoon leaf has me hoping for ALL the power ups now.

I'm pretty sure New Super Mario Bros. U will encompass everything that's related to the New Super Mario Bros. series.

 

While I might attempt to make a level, honestly I'm more interested in seeing what others can do we well. Love that we have 4 distinct styles of Mario game to play in, in one game.
