Ok i'm hungry and recently ive been craving a manwich. yeah there have been loads of food related threads recently but this got me thinking (yeah i know scary.) what do you guys put on yours and who dosenot like a big freeking sandwich? btw girls a womanwich is just a manwich with slightly better hygiene and a raised pinky.
When I put something in there I expect to taste every single thing in every bite. Make sure the spread is equal on each bite. The basics of any sandwhich: Tomato, mayo, and onion. Leftovers mostly: steak, pulled pork, chicken whatever. You dig in more into the fridge: I don't know fry an egg, kimchi, cilantro, anything spicy, I don't really think about what I put in there. I look at what I have and go with it.
My go-to sandwich is 1-2 thin slices of boiled ham, mustard, cream cheese and piles of cheddar and lettuce between two slices of dark-ish bread. The exact sort isn't important as long as it isn't plain white bread. More ordinary open-faced sandwiches I like is liver pâté with pickled cucumber slices or any variety of egg with some sort of hot sauce. I currently like sriracha. Peanut butter with fresh fruit is also fine but it has to be 100% ground peanuts. What the fuck is a "manwich", anyway?
If this is about Manwich I love the Bold flavor with a couple chunky slices of onion and a dollup of sour cream If we're talking favorite sandwiches in general...I have to go with the steak n cheese sub with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo and extra cheese
Got a can in my cabinet I need to make. That Jamaican band never shows up when I open the can to help me cook it.
oh god... the craving... iT IS HEEEEERRRRRRE!!! i blame you, BScorpinok75 but at the same time, thank you. to the grocery store!!!
Thin, soft flatbread (mayo spread) Cheese (cheddar, jack, mozzerella) Lettuce (boston) Pepperoni Ham (hickory-smoked) (all meat lightly coated with honey mustard) Lettuce (boston) Cheese (cheddar, jack, mozzerella) Thin, soft flatbread (mayo spread)
Manwich is a specific corporate product. When talking about obscenely decadent giant sandwiches, please use the general term "dagwood".
I like my Manwhich with grilled green peppers and Onion with sweet baby rays or my home made BBQ sauce mixed in. I like lots of Dagwoods but my go too Prosciutto with arugula, provolone and fig jam on a loaf of ciabatta bread. I like cheese burgers too but I think they're their own category. Oh and if you ever find yourself in IL USA hit up Johnny's Beef in elm wood park for the one of the best combos in the world.
