This is becoming my favourite guilty pleasure television show, I find myself watching it most days before I eat as it seriously works as food porn, but often makes me jealous as my dinner can never measure up.

Do you live near, work at or visit regularly any of the restaurants in the show? Have you attempted any of these challenges? did you win? I unfortunately live in the UK and they haven't done a UK man vs food and as far as I'm aware not that many of these types of challenges exist here.

As this site has people with a huge variety of opinions and backgrounds, I'm also curious whether some people here see the show or its glutinous attitude to food and meat as somehow morally wrong? what with obesity becoming a problem in some parts of the world and starvation affecting others. Any vegans or vegetarians have a strong opinion on the show?

Hasn't Adam Richman stopped doing the show? I really did enjoy watching it back home, although it wasn't really because of the food, more because Richman was just such an entertaining presenter. There are times where I do think that they are wasting an awful lot of food though, I currently study third world development, and there are times where I'll think it's a bit excessive, there was this one place he went to where everything served was huge, they had these cakes that were a foot tall, and this other time he went to some buffet for policemen or something, and the guy running it had this huuuuuuuuuge building just full of ovens for cooking stuff, and each policeman got a tray stuffed with enough food to feed 4 people all to themselves!??!!? Really??
But as I said, I watch it mainly because I like Richman, and more often the challenges he does are just at normal restaurants that don't serve massive portions all the time, just for those particular challenges

Adam has that other show about greatest sandwiches or some such. It was a good show, but I find the constant repeats annoying. Every time I see it on the guide I hope it's a new ep, but it never is.

What I found best about the show was so happy he was about every bite of food he had. Either he was starved for days before each episode, or acting, or the guy just has really low standards.

I'm no food-prude, but a lot of the challenges he undertook seemed pretty boring, and some were just plain unappetizing.
