Whether you like Shia or not, this looks incredible. After his performance in Fury - which I thought was fantastic - I'm confident he's going to hit this one out of the park. Will let the trailer speak for itself in regards to what the movie is about...

Shia and Gary Oldman were GREAT together in Lawless and I'd watch either of them in anything, especially together.

Kate Mara getting topless is just icing on the cake!

    ;)

That looked great, and I already love Labeouf's performance just from the reaction shots he was given.

i am very disappointed that he isn't wearing the paper bag the entire film. and for the rest of his career. boo!

with that said, the movie looks better than Ang Lee's Iraqi soldier film. also known as, Oscar Bait the movie. lol

Damn, Shia's really come a long way.

Is it possible he could get a Oscar nomination?

I don't think this is the kind of movie that will get an Oscar push. One of the unfortunate but hard to fix flaws of The Academy is that a studio really has to market its movie to voters, and it is expensive. For some studios, it's worth the risk to earn some pedigree. Plus, I think this premiered at a film festival last year or something because its release date is listed as 2015. I'm not entirely positive about Oscar release rules when it comes to early film festival premieres, but that might already disqualify it.
