by the way mounted without pin joints it looks cool!
I quite agree. Looks quite nifty. Imaging it painted. Looking forward to next version so you can those pins in
Great work! Hope it turns out nice. I was thinking about this project a few days ago. Would be nice to find a way to make it attach to Soundwave's or Transistor's arm to make it look like it's gonna launch.
Groovy! Looks real good!
I can't really tell...did the 1mm holes not print at all, or did they turn out to be those large holes? If the holes just aren't there, you might be able to just use a drill bit, and just use it with your hand to drill a hole through the plastic.
Great idea, i'll make it!
Unfortunatly i don't have a drill bit of 1mm...
I think i'll made some little adjustments and try to print in detail plastic to see what comes out, thanks to all for you effort, stay tuned!
I've finished new version:
Transformed bottom (i added a cavity to fit soundwave's shoulders pins:
With nuke missiles that you can insert when transformed:
Truly excellent! Can't wait to see it finished.
Looks very nice, your details are getting better too!
Is this something that's going to be available for purchase?
Maybe... if the final model will looks good i'll sell it trough shapeways, remember that then you have to assemble and paint it like a model.
Final version sent to print!
Oh man, loving it !!!
I hope we get a chance to pick one up on Shapeways...
Are the holes in the cassette 5mm?
One? I'm hoping to pick up three or maybe even six.
This item reminds be of the long delayed KFC cassette called Metal Screech. It turned from cassette to jet, and combined with a tank cassette to form a robot.
I'm down for this. Hope to see it soon
Thanks to all!!
Can't wait to see the final version! Add me to the list of buyers
