I have the FT Reflector, so this is appealing to me because it's not the same exact design with just a different color. I'd actually be getting a different design as well. I had the G1 toy as a kid so there's a good nostalgia pull to this one as well.

I wonder when these are coming out (if ever?) Like I was waffling on whether to pick up Visualizer, but now that this recolor exists, I'll prolly wait for that. It would be cool if they gave the three of them unique face sculpts like the g1 toy, but from that cardback it looks like they're all the same.

Of all these I really hope that toy reflector gets made the most. Those metallic treatments would look amazing.

I just want Sunstorm. because in my head he's still the all powerful Dreamwave version that single-handedly brought down omega supreme with a single touch. :lol

No word on these for almost 5 months? Are they still happening? I need a Toy influenced MP Reflector for my shelf.

As far as I know, Maketoys never confirmed that they ever intended to produce these guys.

Received my set yesterday from the BF sale; going to have to rewatch a transformation video so I don’t mess up the parts on the feet that will never come back out if mistransformed before diving in.

That’s a problem with the KFC set, not these guys.

I think it was just meant as a bit of fun, as the only thing being made in that picture is Sunstorm and that's only because he was crowdfunded.

Just got these guys in the mail today. Haven't had a chance to really mess with them too much, but first impressions are good. I think I'll keep em'!

One thing I did find interesting after finally getting them out of the packaging (that was a minor nightmare) - Both Spyglass and Spectro have a good deal more heft to them over Viewfinder.

    20181208_182544.jpg

I did notice a few flaws with the set. First, the major one - Viewfinder's chest flap is split at the edge of the hinge housing, most likely caused by inserting the pin.

    20181208_182835.jpg

Second, and less of an issue, but more of an annoyance - one of the left shoulder covers has a defect in the mold. It looks like a piece of debris that got trapped inside the mold during the injection process. It's visible on the both the front and the inside. In the end, after having removed all 3 left shoulder covers to apply my Decepticon decals I decided to put the defective one on Viewfinder to make him even more unique. :D

Still love this set. I like having them all using different faces, and I especially like that one of them has a distressed face as I like the idea of one of them being so anxious and stressed that he might be the most unpredictable and dangerous of the three.

I love the feel of these figures as well, the plastic and engineering feels really playable and intentional in its sculpt and engineering.

Yep, they're great. You can get them cheap at the official Maketoys shop. I prefer them to KFC's and FT's offering.

    I really appreciate them.

Perfect facesculpt, good proportions; they are the only ones with no partsforming, and accurate feet (with the triangular bit on the front).

I can see how they are too purple to be perfectly toon accurate, but the general sculpt is accurate AND good looking.

I only got them recently, with the price cut, and I was expecting a "dated" product, but no, they're very good.

Still the best Reflector. Clever transformation too. Feels like a combiner.
