$365 on bbts - wonder if the price will keep going down until they move their inventory...

A big (no pun intended) reason I still prefer the Hastak version.

Ironically the very same reason I hate hasbros. Well among the million other flaws it has in comparison. :lol

The citybot is too big? What a weird complaint.

No such thing as too big for a citybot, imo. If anything, every one made by any company to date, including the official ones are all smaller than they should be. So the larger, the better.

I need some advice on this figure. I will search thru the thread more later, and I can also provide photos later...

The right shoulder that others have had a problem with is a problem for me too. It slid out during a transformation, and I've been trying for a long time to get it back in. I just can't. I checked the gray rail to see if it was inverted like some others, but it seems ok. The problem is I can get the gray rail in the slot, but then the white grooves below it are impossible to line up with the piece under it. It doesn't reach (this is the top groove, in robot mode). I've tried pushing it up as much as possible, I just can't get it to reach. It will sort of stay in place, but there's a bad forced tilt to the figure on that right shoulder because of it. I also checked underneath, and the plastic is cracked like in the other photos in this thread. I'm not worried so much about that if I can just get everything else good.

What I'm super pissed about is during all this, one of my sliding gray tank treads broke off. What should I do about that? It's not a load bearing piece, so maybe I can just crazy glue it back or gorilla glue it (i can put pictures later). Do you think maketoys would send a replacement if i asked?

They might, but it will cost you at least $12. This sounds like the misassembly I had with my Dystopia. Had to unscrew the front section from the rear section of the upper chest, fight with the front section to get it to latch into all the rails appropriately, and then reattach the rear section (which went on relatively smoothly.

Thanks, I just emailed them. I don't mind paying, I'd like to keep him in good condition (my most expensive figure).

I'll see what I have to unscrew for that shoulder. I don't get what the problem is yet. It doesn't seem like anything is inverted or in the wrong position. It just seems that the shoulder piece on the bottom doesn't go high enough to meet the matching groove. The gray rail slides in without much of a problem, but when it does, it separates from the lower half due to the reach issue. Hopefully i can fix it, such a great figure.

Man, if I only had the money for this guy, or could FIND a Generations Metroplex! I saw him at Costco around the Holidays last December, but didn't have the money to get him.

There are a couple grooves at 90 degrees to each other, as I recall. It was a giant pain to get them both to go in at the same time. If you open the front of the upper chest, there should be 2 screws you can reach, that was all I remember being there (figure not handy today).

Not with mine. I had it in the wrong place during one of my first transformations and the whole thing popped off. IIRC I had to unscrew it to reattach it but it wasn't broken.

Soooo my Utopia's face has broken off.

I super glued it back on twice now and it just keeps breaking off! His whole face! I know I said the face was the only part of him I didn't like but this isn't what I wanted!

Would Maketoys send me a replacement?
