How can you tell if it's MIB? Does it have a viewing window?

 

Will this guy get reissued, I have been hunting him and cant find him.

 

Because it's not MISB. Though the two terms seem to have blurred over the years. This means he probably has opened it up and transformed it.

 

No news on it, but it did take a year for the guy to sell out. So if it does get reissued, it probably won't for a while.
Best bet would probably be to call TCP to see if they have any laying around, or if they can contact Maketoys for you.

 

So this guy is in my shrine to Simon Furman fighting Unicron, and I'm very jealous that Power Baser has a Marvel-style kit.

I found some cannons for Thunder Manus on Shapeways, but no Marvel head. Any Shapeways whiz want to get on that?

A new long nosed cab and replacing the rear wheels with treads would go a long way towards a Star Convoy toy-accurate alt mode; wonder how much retooling would have to be done to the robot mode?

 

All you’d need to do is make a new core robot and do a different version of the divine suit. All you’d need is to make a new head, a chest plate more like the chest and maybe shoulder turrets that go out and on top of the shoulders from the peg hole. Yeah it seems pretty possible.

 

Also is there anywhere to still get this guy for a good price? It’s a bit old I realise but I’m only just getting into these guys.

 

Same here. I asked maketoys, they don't plan on reissuing it any time soon.

 

Sad. It’s such a beautiful figure.

 

Does anyone here who also bought Maketoy’s Godbomber not want the divine armor that comes with this set?

I was in the same boat until very recently. Just keep an eye out and don't stop looking. I found one on ebay for around $110 shipped a few weeks ago. You'll get lucky if you're patient.

 

I'll wait for the reissue. In the meanwhile I have Thunder Erebus to tide me over. Heck I don't even need this if Maketoys were to make the armor for the version I have.

 

Right yeah. I’ve only found ones which are 300 for me and that’s pretty steep. I’m still kinda hoping on a reissue.
