Great Pics! Just wondering: did MT put more paint apps on non-Super Ginrai's face? I've only seen Baltimatrix's video review of a test shot, and the face plate wasn't silver.

 

In the Thunder Erebus thread there were a few complaints about the big guns being clones of each other are not able to plug in securely onto one of the tabs at the back (ie both guns can tab well on one side but not on the other), as well as the last backpack flap being loose for some. Does these complaints persist in Thunder Manus?

Ah shit spoke too soon.

Just noticed the chrome chest piece doesn't have its window panels damn it. Seems the manufacturing overseeing of this guy has been a bit sloppy indeed.

 

Was the plastic on Thunder Erebus the same grade as Strike Manus/Rioter Despotron?

I know that Galaxy Meteor is a grade lower than Striker Manus, but still top tier like FansToys etc.

The matte plastic on Galaxy Meteor didn't seem as strong as those of Striker Manus.

 

I am not an FT fanboy, but their plastic is stronger than Maketoy's. They and Giga have the best materials.

 

I literally can't tell the difference in any of those to be honest. I pick up Thunder and I just feel like I'm holding a bigger heavier more ratchet filled Striker Manus.

He certainly scales well with legends stuff that's for darn sure.

Oof. The reports of manufacturing issues has me worried. Hopefully I don't have any problems when mine comes in...

Yep, same here for shipping tommoro ...fingers crossed there are no real QC issues.

 

I ordered mine from tfsource, so in case there's a QC error they'll have me covered. I also wish this guy wasn't rushed out before Chinese New Year.

 

Personally I like Maketoys plastic. It is definitely lighter than FT and feels a bit odd but it's honestly just as strong from what I can tell without doing scientific tests in a lab haha. Both have materials that can handle anything a toy needs to do.

 

First time going from armored mode back to powermaster...and this happened.

 

I doubt Maketoys meant for the QC issues to happen.
The factory workers all probably didn't give a dam because CNY was right around the corner.
You know we Americans get lazy around the holidays as well.

 

TCP is in North America and they have it available.

Are the eyes painted? Every photo I’ve seen makes them look like they’re not that really nice blue they’ve been using.
