How much was the item that you purchased, and how much did you have to pay in customs? I was thinking about ordering something, but I've never ordered from China before (I'm in the US)....am I correct that anything declared under $200 is not subject to additional customs taxes?

Would've liked the seekers to go on sale... still want Skywarp and Thundercracker, but not willing to pay full price...

Though Galaxy Meteor is tempting... I'll have to sleep a few nights on that one...

I saw they've got Not-GodBomber on sale too, but I've read some of the negative criticisms of it on the boards. Though I'm content with the Divine Armor that already comes with Manus.

On Topic.. I got the update on my order for Giant confirming it's been shipped. Total price, no tariff, and Flat Rate (Free) Shipping it was $250 USD even.

Gundog is a fun figure. Fun to transform and pose. I just recently got rid of mine because I don't need 2 hounds with the MP coming out, but was definitely on of their better ones. The shoulder pin does have an issue that you should watch out for, as it can shear off if you aren't careful.

Damn. Was hoping to snatch Thunder Manus. But the two pack of premium striker Manus and Skywing is one hell of a deal! Too bad you can't choose the Stealth one though. :lol

I'll keep that in mind if I get my hands on one.

He went out of stock before you could even buy him. Clown shoes.

Apparently "until" is a gray area...was going to order something yesterday and forgot, but just went to order and the sale is already over. I know its Aug 31 there already, but it's still Aug 31 :)

    Two things...

First: Yeah, I'm not happy to say it but unless you really like SGMF (like me!) or God-Bobmer then skip the figure. Maybe at $60-ish then go for it. But going from Thunder Manus to Divine Shooter was quite the slap in the face in terms of overall QC. Though, TBH, I have come to appreciate the toy in it's own right. It just wasn't Thunder Manus quality.

Second: You got (Green) Giant for $250 shipped?!?

Yellow, actually the DX Set. $250, not tax or shipping.
I felt like this would be different, add some G2 to my ThirdParty shelves.

I bought Galaxy Meteor and Divine Shooter. Free shipping.

For my purchase they helpfully marked down the value in the packing slip (anything over RM500 is taxed in Malaysia) without me asking them to.

That's such a great set. The bot and vehicle modes are pretty good considering their age but that combined mode is so fun and solid. Hope you have fun with him!

Wish I had gotten their Grapple and Inferno when they were $40. But bought a bunch of other stuff. Think I got their very last Contact Shot.

This is by far the sturdiest and most solid Third Party Combiner I have. My favorite is still Quantron, but this one does so many things right, especially with the spring release interlocking points.

    20190812_233338.jpg

My only warning is be careful of loose pins. When I opened the package, there was a pin that got stuck inside Not-Mixmaster's shell but it didn't belong to the figure. Turns out it was from Not-Hook, the pin missing in his waist that folds him over for Torso Mode came out. Easy fix with a pin punch and pliers.

That appears to be the main inspiration, so yes.
